going to see it tomorrow, cant wait. i dont care about the reviews just so hyped to see two dc movies in the same year.

Rotten Tomatoes doesn't have a feeling one way or another. They are just aggregating professional critic reviews.

It's criminal how few views you guys get. You should advertise more. Get on movie fights and plug the channel, plug it on Collider or the Shmoes. Now the channel appears to actually have some vision instead of just being Roth doing Skype calls I don't want to see the channel die off again.

I agree about the spirit of things but I do think many critics are tired and frustrated by the surge of comicbook movies and they tear them to shreds on things that will barely get a remark on a "regular movie". Suicide squad has issues but it also has tons of fun and many redeeming qualities in the cast performances.

I think it's not the many bad reviews perse, but the way some or in this case most of the critics write the reviews, they wrote some of the most nonsense reason why the movie (not particulary only about suicide squad) is bad. Compared to DC's counterpart the critics just straight up destroyed it with no good reason. Hey I love good critics, but some are just rediculous. That's just my opinion. Great video guys.

I totally agree but also I think people are at the moment ready to hate on DC, expecting them to fail so are pulling out shit, or already made up their minds before seeing it.

ISHTAR is a great film!! It was completely and unfairly bashed during the late 80s.

While I totally agree as a fan it shouldn't matter to you what anyone else's reviews on a film ar whether they pan or celebrate it and in general I think its the case with most movie goers will see the movie and base the own opinions on the film. The problem with the likes of rotten tomatos is that it pretty much pans everything DC do and raves about everything Disney/Marvel does (now not saying I dislike Marvels movies in general some are very entertaining deadpool, the first couple of captain Americas the first iron man etc) Now you can look at that in many ways corruption being the obvious front runner here, or maybe the reviewers don't like more serious movies and think that superhero movies should in general be family friendly or comedy movies like the CA civil war ((I mean how can you have a war and not have any super hero casualties from it War Machine even walking at the end come on really...)) its hard to say. But the main problem is that yes everyone will form their own opinions on the film which is the way it should be, but for some reason film makers take the critics more seriously then the fans of the films/shows in a lot of cases and there in lies the problem meaning people who like/love films may never get sequels because critics pan what the audience in general think are good films....

Fact: Superhero (blockbuster type) movies can only be as good as the villain is bad. Vader, Hannibal, Joker, Loki, all were captivating, charismatic and made the heroes interesting. The complexity, intensity, pace, depth and I would argue ANY real artistic potential a these movies have, runs parallel with the villains performance and story. You can change the villain (making him more evil or dark) to improve the story but, ultimately the hero people come to see needs to be there to keep the story authentic. Fact: Fox and WB do not get this and in they are arrogantly pretending to be victims of the fans they are ignoring. Emo Superman and 5'6" Apocalypse only exist because a arrogant directors and corporate assholes do "what's good enough" to keep a demographic. Stop blaming the fans for not liking you product. Stop acting like your a victim when YOU KEEP GETTING WRONG and Marvel keeps getting it right. Stop pretending ZACK SNYDER is a visionary and his movies are misunderstood. JUST stop doing this shit. Stop pretending people will keep paying for this crap. That is just ignorant.

2:15 That's the problem right there. NO ONE uses RT like that. Everyone just looks at the score and looks at it as a measurement of how good or bad a movie is. RT is deeply flawed and completely misdirecting. And people won't tune it out. They don't want to READ. They look at the number and that's it. A petition to take it down is nonsense. But it is quite obvious that it HURTS the movie industry in many ways. I can't stand the site and it's mechanics. There is no middle ground - only good or bad. It's a black and white mentality. You can't create a percentage score out of it. It's VERY misleading. Most critics won't admit it because they are part of that system of verified critics.

I mean critics hate DC cause marvel bought them. Note dark knight came out before iron man 1. But in the end man of steel great movie critics hates it cause of its destruction, avengers, ultron and winter soldier has a lot of destruction also critics love it. Bvs had similar story line to civil war one movie critics hated it and the other critics said best movie ever even thought the pacing was worse. Then suicide squad a lot of action, good characters, decent story and good humor. It's kinda like GoTG group of outlaws who do goods. One was loved and appraised but didn't do a good job on the origins of each. The other did a good job and had origins for each of their character like dead shot and Harley

You over complicating it. They are like sports fans. Fan of a team. If the opposition is doing well they will begrudge it if they're percived to be underachieving . But unlike sports they is no league table where you can deal in fact and stats to back up your argument. So the champ is who rates better. The issues with that are the critics who have website and live there mum's who lItter rotten tomatoes . Or mainly people who arnt 25. Who grew up with marvel on the big screen. And have a big say on rotten tomatoes. So if your team is constantly getting a bad score for not being marvel (because it's not) which a lot of the reviews say. You can understand the lash out. Also more poor reviewing can also add heat to fire. You have reviewer friends who say (they may not be) "I had fun. But not enough to rate it fresh" wtf! That's either you are scared to say what you think. Which then makes the dc part of your audience question you. So it's not all the fans fault.

rotten tomatos does not hate dc. we are not crazy. just got back from the movie a few hours ago... worst movie of the year
