Played since 2017, the amount of times bsg has been unfaithful to the original customers and has led people before me to quit playing is nothing new. Now here I am like one of them watching the revolving door spin.

I think everyone decides for themselves whether Tarkov still has a chance. As an Eod owner, I still play, but I won't upgrade to the new edition. Nikita has basically openly communicated what he thinks of the community, in the future I will make sure to only give money to people who at least act like they respect you.

i have low expectations for ABI the season 8 trailer for the Chinese version revealed a new boss which is a girl wearing sexy clothes and lets not forget about the cosmetics sooner or later they'll start adding stupid shit that'll kill the vibe for now there's no scav karma mechanic in AB which mean scav runs will be painful and most of all there are no wipes

Its not going anywhere for one simple reason, i got ground branch,ready or not,squad,hell let loose,arma 3,dayz,SCUM,dead side,hunt showdown and other tactical/semi-realistc games and not a single one even comes close to Tarkov unfortunately, it will live until a better game comes and even then a lot of people will stick with Tarkov

"marketing" .... A 250€ p2w edition for pve, beta for 7 years, arena a massive flop, filled with cheaters...but yeah, marketing am I right.

The mindset of eastern (russian) consumers and western consumers is a whole another world of difference. People in the east are used to korean style MMOs that have no respect for the consumer, and see nothing wrong with p2w elements like getting free trader rep and not having to do as many quests as a standard account players, getting a direct numerical advantage over them by using money. you can literally pay to circumvent the main premise of the game: losing your items on death. you can pay with real money to keep more items on death (gamma container). the game has always been p2w, it was about time they would make it even more p2w.

It's not about to fall off... because the BIG streamers - despite their gripes about the recent events - ARE STILL playing. Thus, new people will still see non-Unheard content and thus buy the game, and many will buy the ridiculous price version JUST to get into it and have the PTW stuff... If the big streamers STOPPED making content - then there would be less activity and the player base MIGHT fall off. But it won't end there anyhow... EVEN if the big-time streamers/content creators stop... the small-time content creators will pick up where they left off... it's just going to go round and round...

The new edition is the new EoD. Eod not existing anymore and they release the new eod, because everyone wants eod. That is all.

Who cares? Play SPT-aki instead and I say that having played Tarkov for ~4200 hours. You can still play Tarkov even without needing BSG servers, because you host it yourself on your own computer. Oh and you can play it with your friends too. It has plenty of mod support, there are no cheaters, and the AI PMCs (there are mods for them) are honestly just as good at PVP as most players in the live game. Sure, you won't make new friends in SPT, but that barely happened even when I was playing Tarkov online.

tarkov has been the same from the start us real supporter players have put up with bsgs shit from the start and just because of there own set back isn't going to stop me from playing the game i enjoy and suffer at .

I will say, No. Unless they no longer pushing content and making lots of controversy. I hope Nikita stop his corporate mindset and stop lazily handle things unless they are being exposes or on a spot light. Last but not least will be a new game that provide near identical to Tarkov like experience.

Guys, stop ridining the hate wagon just because streamers are angry with the game. The game is here to stay and it will be better than ever. The streamers will always return to Tarkov because its their main source of revenue.

it doesn't take a genius to figure out that 250 bucks for an advantage in a video game to know is not worth the money, only whales and cheater will genuinely buy this edition with zero irony, is not your fault for the hate just because you wanted to review the content, but don't be suprise if you lose face from it.
