It is unfortunate that this will be the finale of everything but very respectable none the less. Only really people like myself enjoyed these videos to further our knowledge on things like this while also seeing how well other people could know these Rulings. Plus us saying farewell to the revamped look of the quiz that was one of the main parts of Coder's rebrand.

This was quite entertaining and seeing Coder dealing with Sam's crazy energy is hilarious.

If I were Sam, I would appeal to Head Judge for the ruling for Question #3, as I do not think the ruling given out here is correct. If we go by the latest OCG printing for "Burst Stream of Destruction", using OCG card formatting, it would read something like this: Your "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" cannot attack the turn you activate this card. ①: Can be activated when there is a "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" on your field. Destroy all monsters on your opponent's field. Notice how the card text for "Burst Stream of Destruction" is structured. OCG cards always make it a distinction to put all activation conditions and limitations before listing the effects of what a card does, if applicable. Going by this logic, the drawback for using "Burst Stream of Destruction" is NOT a lingering effect, but rather a condition that restricts the player from taking a certain game action. In other words, even if the controller's "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" is rendered unaffected by card effects, that player controlling the "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" still CANNOT attack, because the restriction for using "Burst Stream of Destruction" lasts the ENTIRE turn for the player, akin to how "Red-Eyes Fusion" and "Lava Golem" work. TDRL; Sam should be rewarded full points for Question #3, as I believe the ruling issued out for this question is incorrect. The rulings that say "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" is allowed to attack the turn "Burst Stream of Destruction" is activated if "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" is unaffected by other cards and effects as outlined on Yugipedia is OUTDATED. The rulings page on Yugioh Fandom Wiki outlines it as such.

This quiz hurts me personally. As a Dark World player the word ruling triggers something dark inside me. Y’all remember seeing Dark World and thinking of how much you could do, all to learn every Dark World player’s deepest fear. Cost.

The twin burst situation actually happened to me in master duel. It was attacking my thunder dragon titan and I imperm’d it and it still banished from the graveyard. 😢

I was curious on how i would fare on this since i know both of these decks well just because i played versus so many opponents having them so i took the quiz on rulings too,without googling... Sorry Sam,7 out of 8,the curveball got me too and i ALSO didnt noticed that on 7th question the card still gets to banish because its effect is not negated in the GY,but ONLY on the field

Can you clarify on question #7? Twin Burst says "when this card attacks", but if it activates in the GY, it's not the same card that was on the field declaring an attack. That also makes me wonder how it can activate in the GY in the first place if it isn't the same card as on the field.

This was the easiest quiz yet, these were master duel questions except the one with dragoon and blue eyes ultimate alternative dragon. I found the super poly question interesting because I once tried almost that same play with Buster blader to fuse dark magician to make a dark paladin with Destruction Swordsman Fusion but since he had enteral soul active I couldn’t activate the card.

11:15 lmao, he is the one that don't know the ruling, you can actually activate super poly even if dragon knight is unaffected by card as long as you have a super poly fusion target.

U can't activate super poly as it cannot be resolved, with albaz they can activate the effect and u flip Eternal soul and then they lose a card cause they already paid cost

The 4th example would work the way he said if activates the poly first and he responds with eternal soul, because he would have. Had a legal move when he played it but unable to target dark magician it would do nothing.

Burst stream's attack restriction is a condition. If an unaffected blue-eyes attacks, burst cannot be activated in main2. If burst is used in main1, even an unaffected blue-eyes shouldn't be able to attack.

Does this mean over over, or done with season 2 and going to season 3?

Doesnt maiden with the eyes if blue miss timing? Since its a when clause and you activated a quick spell after it was targeted for an attack it should miss timing regardless no?
