Susan it would be cool if you could continue videos like this and make it a series like “Save or Splurge” for different products. For example, do a top tier, middle tier, and lower tier of dyson air wrap, dyson dryer, and revlon dryer and see what everyone prefers on your team!

I loved this video!!! It was so educational and I don't even have 4C hair lol but I am sold. The fact that Terrell was able to comb his fingers through his hair and his ends didn't feel dry, that's huge!

I had the revlon blow dryer brush but stopped using it after I got the dyson! I found that the revlon one damaged my hair because it got sooooo hot. The dyson makes my hair feel super soft and light and I've noticed a lot less damage. I waited for the sephora sale to get 20% off the dyson hehe 100% worth it imo

I have both the airwrap and the dyson blow dryer. For myself, I'm always reaching for the blow dryer. When I do my daughter's hair, I use the airwrap. I think its partially because I'm a stay at home mom and with the pandemic I didn't really take the time to do my hair often. If you could only choose one, I'd say go for the blow dryer!

Having 3c hair and seeing how fast and good his hair looked after just blow drying it is amazing to me. Styling curly kinky hair is a long workout I would pay 600 to not do.

Yay! This was good to see how it works still not team Dyson air wrap either I have the Dyson blow dryer and the vacuum lol I’m def a fan. But it’s just so expensive. Great video.

Something that I don't think was pointed out is that even though you could get a regular blow dryer with a brush or pick attachment, the Dyson works differently (faster and quieter than regular dryers, and doesn't produce burning hair smell) and he said it himself that it was considerably faster and smoother results than what he was achieving with a regular dryer and brush. The regular Dyson dryer isn't really angled properly to have a brush attachment and what's nice about the Airwrap attachment is it looks very similar to a denman brush, which would be ideal for stretching out super curly hair. Just to go overboard, when trying to section your hair while using a blow dryer and separate brush, you kind of need a third hand. The Airwrap with the brush attachment allows you to have a free hand for sectioning. Keep up the good work! :)

Honestly a regular revlon or conai blow dryer with the comb attachment does this for 7x cheaper. Not to lie this is not a product for natural 4c hair. But this was nice to see him try. 😄

@@salmakhan6498 i use a regular blow dryer with settings and like the cooling button so I can manage the temperature I had mine for over 10 years works fine

nah I've had the combing attachment and it doesn't work as well as the flat brush with dyson. My hair is SOO straight I could walk out with just that.Plus they make other attachment for shorter hair that allow you to get even closer to the root.

I own both the dryer and the airwrap. I love both of them and don't regret the purchases at all. For reference, I have coarse and very long hair. The airwrap works just fine for me.

Look, I know people (Susan) loves the regular Dyson hairdryer, but there is NO WAY I would ever spend that kind of money on JUST a hairdryer. But, if I had the money, I would buy the air wrap in a heartbeat. Granted, I do have the luxury of white girl hair, but something that will actually dry my hair and curl it at the same time is a real dream.

Love my dyson dryer. Tried the airwrap and it’s def not for me .. my hair is too long and I’m such a pro at curling wand at this point that I don’t need to spend the money .. saving the funds for naturium cosmetics ( probably a year worth 💪🏻)

Amazon actually has a dupe for the Dyson hairdryer! It’s actually much more affordable than Dyson! Love this video though. Definitely need to try the Airwrap at some point and find a dupe! 💜

one thing dyson caters to the Cheaper version don't is Shorter hair. If you look at his length pre blowout. the Revlon and drybar and Lange one won't fit. they are so Big that you have to have medium to long hair for it to work. Also they are all in Small round brush style which pull alot. There is not another to my knowledge hairdryer that has a flat brush attachment or style. As a person with short hair natural hair I would LOVE to try cheaper version but they literally are the length of my hair.

@@salmakhan6498 it definitely gets pretty hot. I haven’t experienced any breakage or notable damage but if you have fragile hair id definitely look into alternatives to compare

It gets pretty hot. I have very fine hair so I don't have to have it on too long. I've never experienced hair burning.

I have Terrel’s hair. So do my sons. We can get the same results with a low cost heated brush from Walmart or Amazon. These things will never take us to straight but they are useful to prep before flat ironing or braiding. Not worth the money. Please don’t. We spend enough money in hair and beauty supplies as is. We don’t need this hyped to us for us to waste money. Pass us on this one, pleasssssse. 😫🙏

I have a lower cost blow dryer I use when I need to style. But I was very interested to see if this would even do the job ya know? What I did like about this was I wasn’t getting that over heated Smokey smell or super dried out feel after blowing drying. I have the Ez Detangler and it takes forever to blow dry my hair! Heheh just wish Dyson had a version that wasn’t expensive and you can customize better.

The airwrap is hands-down the best thing that ever happened to my natural hair routine. And the finish is significantly better than the Revlon or the babyliss. I don't think

@@Muslimah33 yepp! Most weeks I'm using the brush attachments to dry and blowout my hair and then I follow it up with a flatiron. It takes wayyyyy less time and less heat to flatiron after I use the Dyson and I'll often just curl my hair with my iron because it's easy for me. I mostly use the Dyson curl attachments to touch-up my curls mid-week or in the summer when I'm doing just a big beachy blowout without the flat iron.

I bought one of these and ended up returning it. Biggest waste of money ever. I really don’t understand the fuss around it. You definitely can’t dry your hair in 5 minutes with this. If you use the curl attachments it takes 30-45 minutes and the curls have fell out by the time you’ve done all of your hair. And then it just looks dry and frizzy.

I don’t think the Dyson was worth it for the curling wand. The curls are too frizzy & never make it to day 2. You will like it if you want VOLUME

It is a styling and drying tool not for him because of his hair type but for Susan it would definitely be. He should really try the regular blow dryer though, it’ll probably be more beneficial.

My hair was actually damp when I was blow drying it out. I never blow dry on dry hair.

I don’t think it worked for him. This tool loke the girls said should replace all your styling tools given how pricey it is. Blacks are only going to waist their money. Stuck with the cheap blow-drier. This is for people with soft to curly hair. Not African American kinky hair at all.
