LOVE my 2014 CLA250. Best car I've owned in a LONG time. SO much fun to drive, and in Eco mode, I can get 40mpg on the highway. Great quality, lot's of fun to drive. Great trunk space too.

This was an amazing review. I’m planning on getting the CLA 250 sometime this year and im pleased to find out that this car isn’t AS loud as some of the other cars I’ve driven. I absolutely love the eco and the sport as well.

ooooooo ... I like the sound of that sport mode! I like the idea of the "individual" mode ... To me it seems strange to not have a gear shift between the seats ... I drove a stick for 15 years, I've never gotten used to these modern "paddle shifters" (LoL) .... thanks for this video ... I now understand much better about the drive modes.

I have the C300 4Matic which I love but got a chance to drive a CLA250 to service for a friend of mine and have to say it's a lot of fun to drive. I wouldn't trade the C300 for it but it is a nice car.

Engine is good, however transmission is a far cry from good performing dual clutch cars. Even in manual mode, there is so much delay, it's also inconsistent at times.

If i hv the car can i always get it on Sport mode?

Test drove this car and it indeed has some pep to it with the inline 4 turbo. My biggest issue was that it is front wheel drive and the cabin is too small inside. Went with the C250 instead, much better driving experience with rear wheel drive and nice roomy interior. Go for the 250 turbo as they are more fun to drive vs the V6 and they have better fuel economy.

I am considering the CLA 250, how would you rate the space inside the vehicle? How well are you able to maneuver your shoulders, elbows, etc?

I ride it on individual & put sport steering on. The soft steering in comfort mode is ridiculously awkward, hurts my brain

This was my dream car for months. The interior is so beautiful!! Which made me want it so bad. And work sooo hard for it. The exterior is nice but also a little average looking and a bit bulky feeling. Overall great looking car. But when I finally test drove the CLA250 and was about to buy it- something didn’t feel right. I realized the ride isn’t smooth at all. Doesn’t really feel like a sports car on the road but it sure does look like one. Ended up getting an Audi. If you’re going to get a Benz it’s better to another higher quality model

The turbo is actually very smooth but sporty and triggers at very low rpm.

May I know how harsh the ride is in comparison to compact cars like Honda civic? I am thinking of getting this car, but, many reviewers argue that the ride is too harsh. I am totally OK with it as long as the ride is not worse than a Civic or Mazda 3. Thanks for your info, I highly appreciate it. By the way, I really like the way you set up the camera angle, so that we can see the driving impression from our screen. Very good job!

Lovely car but why didnt they invest in a bezelness screen the screen looks like a 1990s tablet so off putting you look at rest of the inside and outside of car so beatifull then you see that horrible screen

i dont really like the dashboard, Audi for example make the dashboard for a3 with not many buttons on it, its very minimalized and it has the screen which can hide when you dont need it, it looks cool just you and the road nothing to distract you. Merc have solid screen which you cant really hide and to be honest you wont need it all the time, its not like its ugly and i hate it but i feel like it could be much better, the older C class had cool dashboard they could keep it ;p

i dont like the big edges on the navigation, meh

For my driving style it does not matter for fuel economy if I am in comfort or eco mode.
