INT Transforming Goku Black finally EZA'd in part 3 of the WWDC for Dokkan Battle. The streets say he's not very good so I had to try him for myself and find out!

I'll say, if we get an event like omega, but a super class version, say...dual ssj4s into gogeta, then i can see him being viable. Not the greatest in the current meta, but things can change

They tried to make an Extreme unit counterpart to TEQ Trunks, but Trunks just flat out has superior stacking abilities when he is transformed. It's honestly a real bummer that they didn't just allow Goku Black to Greatly Raise ATK & DEF because he would at least have been an overwhelming offensive force throughout certain fights.

@SubaruYT that's all he has though is pure defense stat nothing else 500k doesn't cut it especially when he takes 200k on normals he has big bad bosses an comparing him to raditz turn 1 raditz has higher defense. Goku black is legit garbage he doesn't have anything other than stacking Def on super an cant hold up in new events he's not worth using in most content he gets crushed easily.

This is so silly. I feel like I'm being taken to a calculator, told to enter 2 + 2, seeing the result be 4, then being told to throw the calculator out the window and believe the answer was 5 Why is his passive, which if not restricted would not be overpowered, restricted to like 15% of the game's hard content? It's just counterproductive and I hate when they move like this

@@NovacainJayRI like how he said new stages and u then said Broly and Cell max in the same sentence😂 irrespective of that, the guy is flat out bad his stacking is horrible and his defenses only “work” against super class enemies and even then turn one he gets fried and after transforming too he doesn’t even look runnable

i get that you like him and he is okay, but compared to doing other hard events Omega, Zamasu. He is okay but needs a super class enemy and yes he has high defensive but no guard/damage reduction in this age nor special conditions or additionals

I still think he sucks a little bit. If his additional supers we're unrestricted he would be very good I just would have liked personally if he had some form of damage reduction or perhaps chance to guard pre-transformation so he wouldn't get annihilated early on.

I know for a fact that Goku Black's EZA is worse than TEQ Trunks. Why? Because he doesn't have defense specially when on 55%. He has almost half his defense than his 100% potential. Trunks has better defense and has unconditional additionals. On top of that his team just shreds way faster even though your team is really strong +you had events where at the start goku black had advantage and on omega trunks had type disadvantage. Although Trunks looks worse, he is stronger.

In my opinion this is an eza that should have came out 2 years ago. He's more designed for longer events and would have been a busted eza if he came out during the gt goku event or legendary vegeta event. When I used him for mortal win he cost me the match multiple times and was taking like 600k from a normal attack

I feel like people are so quick to reject characters or eza based on their hype being died down by something not happening in the celebration. For instance, my friend and I have played for most of the game’s lifespan and Everytime a big celebration happens, he comes up with theories about characters and ezas. If his expectations aren’t met, he instantly starts downplaying the game then complains to me about it and I’m fine with whatever we get.

He’s good if you can survive with him for 5-7 turns. Not always easy. So he’s good but for sure not great.

I appreciate this. An absolute fair and just run. Been using him since his EZA and I can say he's not the greatest but also not the worst. He's fun. Dude cooked Red Zone Zamasu with a total of 25 mil. People are just mad he's not with the meta of damage reduction. (which is fair, but he's not as defenseless as people make him out to be) I agree he doesn't need to be limited towards super class though. That IS dumb. I feel like the EZA Rosé is gonna help soon

He sucks relative to how good he should be. These rng dependent units are never fun to run and its even worse that unlike Trunks he's relegated to super class enemies for his additionals. If you don't start the battle against a super class teq enemy chances are he's gonna get folded early on

He's pretty disappointing, solely because he's raw stats. 500k ON T3 might be impressive initially, but when mfs be hitting for 2M now, you're getting one-shot at that DEF without guard or 40% DR bare minimum. Especially when those additionals rely on a Super Class enemy being on the field.

In conclusion, they didn't give him nowhere near enough to be good in today's difficult events, let's not huff that copium and act like 200k defense turn 1 is good anymore. He's stacking too slowly, I mean slay, you proved that fact by using items to get him to a reasonable defensive level so that should tell you enough.
