Lol no. There are definitely some weird colors but check this out to get my take

For someone who says they don't use markers a lot, you're the first to show me how to use the undertones correctly! Great video! Odd about the splashing, mine haven't seem to do it.

also for ohuhu markers you have to twist the caps off slowly the pressure inside will make them splatter

I'm glad that It has darker skin tones as they are harder to some across , other brands of markers have tons of lighter shades and only 2 browns lol

your artstyle is frickin cute and i love how you used the lifting effect to your advantage and made those markers obey - that's actually a queen move! (ima steal that ahahaha) you need to tell me about the first and the third(? starts around 11ish?) song. they sound so good!

As a college professor, may I make a suggestion... Stop saying that you're not good at something... If you don't say it, we don't know it... So, it's better if you don't say it because it shows self doubt.

I have a lot of self doubt haha, I’m just a normal person but I’ll definitely keep that in mind :) however, I think it’s important for me to be real with you guys about my process and how I’m feeling because it’s something all artists go through.

@@ParaDraws I think it’s a good thing to be real with your audience but that doesn’t mean you have to be so negative towards yourself, that energy goes onto your audience as well and that’s not okay. For example you can be real to your friends but if your always complaining they will leave. Maybe once or twice in a video is okay because yes that is normal and it shows room for improvement which we love! But every second Is too much

The third one with the yellow base color looks interesting. I have to try that. And yea, the skin color sets lacks light colors. Just like the regular sets from Ohuhu 🙁 I hope they will produce more light, pastell colors in the future, would be so good! That splattering happens to me also btw 😂

Actaully that is pretty strange because most of the time sets always have more lighter skinned colors than dark colors. I'm really glad for the dark skintone that have to be used because I'm black myself and don't really draw many Black people and this would force me too.

@@chocobun4879 Really? I've always seen a lot of dark skin tones, accept for the Caliart skin set. But the Artxx and a few other ones on Amazon have a beautiful variety of browns, cool and warm!

@@empressink_black people have always talked about how marker and colored pencils didn’t have stuff that worked for us, it’s weird how people are saying we always did just because they lack the ones for lighter now

I really wanted ohuhu markers but they sold out beforehand, and now I’m trying to figure out how to use copic. But I really love how you, despite not knowing how to use them, were able to make this masterpiece!

Thank you! We are in this together because I’m learning too haha, if you can’t get ahold of ohuhu try the caliart because they are cheaper than copics! And pretty much the same as ohuhu besides the price lol

You really shouldn't be so negative about your art. I and a lot of other people clicked your video because we either like your art or see the potential you have for growth. Being self deprecating is going to scare off potential viewers, so I would work more on how you talk about yourself than your actual work. Other than that, very nice video. I liked the tones you came up with and I wish you the best on your art journey!
