I have the Arc with the sub mini in a 400 sq foot room. It's perfect for that space and won't annoy neighbors. The best thing about this setup is that I notice the Arc itself sounds a lot cleaner when paired with the sub. The separation between the vocals/dialogue and the surrounding ambient sounds were more noticeable.

I just bought the Arc, and it vibrates my floors. Im in a townhousr, and im afraid if i buy the Gen 3 Sub, it'll be too much.

I have the arc and was thinking between gen 3 and the mini. I have big open space BUT not looking to shake any ground. I just want a balanced sound coming from my TV which the arc alone is struggling not being able to separate the low frequency. Should i go for the mini then?

What is considered a large room versus a small room?

It's a difficult one to pin down because lots of factors come into play; open plan vs closed plan ceiling height how far your seating area is from your TV We tend to go with TV Screen Size, as that usually correlates with how big your room is. Anything over 55" we say go with the Arc, anything under, you're probably better with the Beam (or other soundbars with similar sizes)
