I like this format. It is more pleasant to watch while having the gameplay in the background. One suggestion: not everyone (me specially, having ADHD) remembers skills/aspects/hearts effects just by hearing their names so bringing up the tooltips every once in a while helps a lot.

I dont use a Resource Aspect but i have LH resource on gloves and shield that proc's alot for aoe. For on bosses just use hemo between ratham stacks and for orbs also. Im loving it now they fixed the corpse tendrills and the healing we are now getting.

I was running Untimely Death even before the fix and was using a focus, after trying it without Potent Blood I was surprised that it honestly didn't feel much worse, I wouldn't have even considered replacing it but it definitely works and I'm now likely going to switch back to a shield, thanks. I've also been using Iron Maiden with 7% life on kill, and it helps massively with getting the stacks of Untimely Death up.

Thanks for the content. Im trying to find a ring I can try this aspect with; potentially swapping on an off umbral ring proactively during run. I cannot move past lidless wall and shielding storm combo for high nm push, temerity doesn't come close in terms of reliable barrier but would sync well with this aspect.

Great video! showcasing it with some gameplay footage is nice :) Quick question; how important is the damage of your weapon? or are you just looking for stats on it like + overpower etc?

P.s having the gameplay in the background is huge for me personally. When I'm watching build videos if there's no game play in NM considerably higher than the player it's a non starter bc anyone can say anything without video to back it up. Appreciate the necro content fam

Temerity can let you overheal very easily with a potion after initiating with bloodmist, and when you come out you next over-power is stronger. Very good synergy

Hi Macro. Tested Temerity + Conceited Aspect yesterday. Seems to work and be a good way to add a dependable multiplier for blood lance, could you maybe revisit this?

I've noticed that hungry blood procs the 6 cast of blood lance on other mobs hit. I been running blood art chest and it pops off like crazy. I've been using the chest for resources gain to open a ring up for something more.

Foinally some content with untimely death. With umbral/potent blood and tendrils now working probably with orbs/essence generation during trash clearing is quite good for untimely death. Umbral tops up the essence so fast each tendril-pull😊

I am currently using rathmas/gore quills/hungry blood and the essence on bloo dorb consumption aspects, no sacrificial and no untimely death. my aoe damage is just fine for NM 100 but the single target it really scuffed so I am currently farming for a bunch of different scenarios to see which i prefer but it means i need to find a good amulet, weapon and ring again (and probably some new boots and a shield... pain

It definitely feels better having this on my BL build. I have to say though, I saw on Maxroll you dropped hungry blood and although yeah it's functional without it, it does feel a lot worse at least to me. I tried just dropping a shield and getting back that aspect on a focus and the clear speed feels much much nicer. Blood orbs just don't spawn consistently enough to totally replace hungry blood for me. I've been clearing NM 100s without a shield so overall I think this fix to the aspect more than makes up for the loss of some HP on a shield.

This with temerity with high blood orb healing on blood necro is so op I love it Lvl 77 clearing tier 80-90

Jw. Ive been using a 1h + focus combo and it feels great but i havent had great rolls. No overpower on either. Ended up getting a 2h with almost max overpower + all stats. The damage is way more it looks like but in practice it feels... off? I could also just be tripping... but my stat sheet def boosted significantly going for the 2h. 99% overpower 69 all stats 31.5% damage to cced and a rando 129 int roll on the 2h. Compunded the 1h combo is 36% to injured 66 int 30 all stats 30.8% stunned 7.8% lucky hit 26.2% dmg after blood orb and lucky hit prim resource restoration.

Probably a nooby perspective here, im seeing you clear 140 on this bloodlance build, is it the damage from the barber giving you more survivability as you pop mobs or what? I can’t even clear NM73 (lvl94 necro) on eternal with my Infinimist that follows your build guide. I just have survivability problems.

With the change to Temerity giving max life and supposedly barrier base on max HP (which isn't clear to me right now), it's another use for the overheal. I also swapped to a one handed scythe to get the life on kill bonus while losing attack speed and lucky hit. But less attack speed means fewer lance per second and less essence consumption. Having a constant barrier is huge to keep myslef toped off in life and fortify. Right now I'm almost always capped to 180 stack of untimely death before a guaranted overpowered attack and I can totally feel it in play.

You can easily drop the health shield for Lidless to keep up the bone storm and the attack speed is quite nice for this build. I've been paying it like this for over two weeks and it melts 80+ nm dungeons.

Switched my lvl 100 bloodlance to bone spear bc missed the damage potential but might have to switch back after this patch

I have a perfect rolled Rathma's Chosen on my amulet and let me tell you when that thing goes off it's like a blood machine gun and just mows packs down.

Been running blood lance build without Umbral or Potent Blood. Essence generation hasn't been a big issue with just Hemorrhage + Rathma's Chosen attack speed.

the one aspect i haven't found yet for this build is rathma's chosen. so i don't think i am one of the chosen ones. but i don't want to do bone spear... think i am doomed. also keep up the great videos. big fan of all you do for the blood necro.

I think today I will test how much investment you need to get a Blood Lance going at WT4, Lvl 60. Before that, I was half self/half minion shadow damage, but the minions are just too squishy for WT4. Respeccing those into other stuff, and now I am very close to the Infinimist build I played in Standard again. Got a few blood aspects lying around, just need some basic gear! My tests will be without Barber, because I don't have that as well lol.

Hello :) Good point, I had a few of those aspects in the stash collecting e-dust. Going to trash Potent Blood.... I don't know if it's worth or not... I am already clearing NM-100s with 3 ppl as wagons (x400% mob health) and it feels nice as is. I am going to update this comment after a few runs.

Sucks that it still doesnt work with Blood Mist and Surge. With the change to that one paragon node and the key passive, I was hoping this would also work and give you some INSANE Blood Mist damage potential. Would be kinda cool for a build, but I guess they don’t want Blood builds to just be Blood Mist builds and I can respect that as well.

Hey Macro, I’ve been following your content for a while and have been chomping at the bits to make a blood Lance necro. I have one burning question. Why is blood Lance listed at the very bottom of C Tier NM dungeon pushing when you’re showing an 89 nec crushing T86 dungeon with ease? I really want to invest time into blood Lance because it looks super cool, and is a bit off-meta. But if the build is still a bit broke in terms of capability, I don’t want to sink time into something that’s not 100%

Hi Im playing your sever build and got to Level 80 it is loots of fun and was wondering if the Abhorrent Decrepify was a key part for the late game I keeped plaing with the Acolyte's Reap I found it easier to get corpses. Will the build still work fine if i keep playing the Acolyte's Reap part ?

Yeah so I don’t have anything other than anecdotal evidence, but I will say that an essence generating aspect didn’t feel necessary. With Rathma’s Chosen on a ring, I was able to dump all of my essence and refill it completely before the buff ran out. I had enough essence cost reduction so I could cast enough lances to proc the Overpower two times before losing it all, and it felt fine. Used this strat to down Uber Lilith with the build. Only thing Umbral did for me was basically give me infinite essence during NM dungeons, but it didn’t feel necessary.

Is it really necessary to have sacrificial? I don’t see that much of a buff

Wait, is it multiplicative? The tooltip says additive, so sitting at 1800% overpower dmg going up another 100% was not worth loosing another aspect that shoots more blood lances, or makes bloodlance crit, or essence for blood orbs.

Mathematically speaking, there must be a point in which giving up 1000 life on the shield is worth a 1.6 damage multiplier. Since the 1000 health is a flat bonus summed with the bonuses from other pieces, doing a quick math, you can get 1000 life of helm, chest, pants and rings, thats 5000 health. With the shield it's another 1000, that's 20% increase in your base life, so the shield with maximum life by itself should equate to a 1.2 damage multiplier, if my math is correct or on track. That's just counting bonus maximim life, I'm not taking into account base life and maximum life multipliers, but from the idea of just looking at the sources of maximum life I'm pretty sure that if you can get an equation for the damage calculation, there will be a maximum life threshold in which swapping out 1000 life for a 1.6 damage multiplier (or higher), I think it is worth ditching the shield. Also, without that extra life for the shield it is a bit easier to overheal and increase the multiplier from Untimely Death. I wish I had the mathematical skill to solve this on my own, but since I don't my hope is that this idea here might inspire someone with the know-how to find the solution for the puzzle. Doesnt Crit make overpower strong?

I've actually been using exploiter aspect for the extra dmg but since the extra dmg there is only to unstoppable monsters Untimely Death is definitely the better option. Although I am going to really miss the auto essence generation with potent blood lol

WHAT woud make blood lance overpower an S teir build to match bone spear ? Blood lance need to proc overpower at minimum every third lance best every second lance. Bone spear can proc crit 50-100% depending on tentacles and can proc vulnerable instantly. Not being able to proc blood lance's overpower all most instantly put this build way behind bone spear.

blood surge need more buffs ... i never like blood lance as you need to group enemies
