Thank you for the great video, I have had the same Dewalt for 2 years and I really like it. If memory serves you can take off the dust collector fitting and the outfeed table will fold up. Just have to put a piece of twine in the adapter and tie it to the machine so it does not grow legs and walk off

thanks for the lesson and info. It is always good when someone who knows tells the rest of us idiots, what's good and what's bad. Thanks. and keep going.

I use a short bungee cord, across the top, between the in and out-feed tables to hold them up when the planer is stored away. Then i wrap the power cord around the entire top and that also keeps the tables up. i would always use the out feed table, properly adjusted, to reduce/eliminate snipe.

Okay, I want that. I haven't gotten myself one yet due to space and fundage limitations. Now I'm gunna have to have conversation with Santa about my Christmas surprise. Which means more talking to myself.

@@WyldeWoodworks so was this video what you were editing last night while your wife was on Twitch gaming, or do you have another fun treat in store for us?

@@LangeloScuro 😅😅 I didn't know she said anything. No the video I was editing last night is dropping today on TikTok. If I can find a good song I'll be releasing a short on KZfaq as well but KZfaq is more difficult for shorts.

Very cool. I’m diggin the channel man. New subscriber here. I’m into the yellow tools also. I had a hand me down delta and it bit the dust. Looks like I’ll be getting this for my chainsaw milled boards! I have a NEO-TEC 872 it’s a stihl 038 magnum II clone saw and it’s tough as nails, it’s got 72cc’s so it’s got enough power for the milling I’ve been doing. I suggest giving them a shot if you want a nice saw in the future:)

I have this planer and it works great.....I am now going to flip the blades around after watching your video....I agree with the outfeed table comment...so annoying that it won't flip up.....Also I do not like the dust collection port....It leaves the hose in the way of work I am trying to plane....I have seen so many people adding elbows to turn a hose the other way.....and one final comment....I have seen lots of people making sleds for these types of machines to help eliminate snipe or plane smaller parts,,,,,,,but with a machine of this quality and cost shouldn't there be another way to eliminate snipe that doesn't involve making a jig?

I don't like that the outfeed table does not fold up for storage but I can live with it . I just take the outfeed table off as it is quick release and I store it on the shelf of the planer stand when not in use . Other than that I am very happy with mine .

I have my 735 mounted to a folding job site table saw stand with wheels. When it's folded up the planer actually gets stored on it's side. I store the dust port inside the machine with the head raised up and a 24" bungee takes care of the bed extension folding issue.

I had one and it had the same amount of snipe as any other planer and the blower turned out to be a big hassle

Your not suppose to change from 1 to 2 speed unless the machine is running
