This is such a saddening fact that the dynamic between parents and their children is bridged by mere marks they score. Ofcourse parents will be absolutely happy if their child gets good marks, but the child should not be selling his soul to the devil for good marks just so that his parents are happy. Over time it seems like we've just been running a never ending rat race and we have forgotten about things that actually matter and what the essence of a good life is. This environment sucks, hope people can come out happy, proud and fulfilled

But, during covid 19 all the admissions were merit based and i scored around 65% in 12th and was not able to get my dream college , i was waiting for entrance tests . I was not getting admission in any good clg as the merit was high . I was literally depressed at that time and was regretting a lot. From what i have heard if someone got >80% they were actually pretty good students. Board exams during that time was not at all the level it is now...like for 10th board exam they had full 9th and 10th syllabus. So, like 60-70% is actually good.

Doosri baat 💯: Actually marks poocha hi isliye tha ki banda kitna diligent raha h starting se. Fortunately ya unfortunately, log judge krte h marks dekh kr. Bhut hi zyada extraordinary hona pdta h ki log tumhare marks ignore kr tumhare present abilities ko dekh ske. For anybody about to write their class X/ XII boards :- yes, marks do matter, majority of the companies coming for campus placement or even off-campus for that matter ask for a minimum of 60% in 10th and 12th and 6 gpa. With a little bit of effort and hardwork I'm sure that each one of you can easily get that much. Moreover corporates nowadays are preferring candidates with practical skills over just marks, so don't let a number define you!!!, try upskilling in your free time. All the very best!!

I just gave the last board exam of session 22 - 23 and to be honest I'm not satisfied from my performance not even a bit and I lost more than 20 marks in today's (maths) exam which was totally unexpected I failed in managing the time effectively 😩😫that's why I had to tick many answers without even seeing the question in last 15 secs...I agree I wasted a lot of time in start in addition I wasn't aware to get involve in online batches or study material +family issues dramas rn I'm totally feeling depressed and getting very negative vibes but from now on I decided to focus on study from the very start I'll start my syllabus ASAP and make my self capable enough and once I get in 12th I won't leave any regrets about my 11th class...!! For me class 10th worked as a moral I destroyed it but won't do that with my future 🙂✨
