Meet Maverick, a 7-year-old Terrier/Pit Bull mix at KC Pet Project. In addition to his adoption fee being waived, Rosie Fund is sponsoring Maverick by providing a Rosie Life Starter Kit, which includes a collar and leash, ID tag, food, treats, toy, and KCPP $25 gift card for other enrichment items.
Maverick makes friends wherever he goes. He’s a Rosie Fund Dog because of his friends David and Nina who are visiting from Germany. He recently attended our KC Pet Project 5K as a greeter dog and was fantastic. Maverick met a variety of people, both on the course and at the finish line. He was eager to meet everyone, including adults and children. He enjoyed receiving cuddles and pets.
In his previous home, Maverick lived with other dogs and staff will be happy to do a dog to dog introduction! This boy is also smart and knows sit, stay, come and down. Maverick loves toys, especially balls, and would love a family to play with. Maverick is what we like to call a "move-in ready" dog. He is house-trained, sleeps in his kennel and loves everyone!
