Three reasons to ban certain dog breeds in India might be:- 1) these dog breeds are not native to india and their demand is high so to produce more dogs of specific breeds continuous breeding program takes place within the same family which causes inbreeding depression. That's why most of them live less than their life expectancy and usually die to some body organ dysfunction or rare genetic disease. So banning them is indirectly preventing that painful process. 2) Even though they are trained we have heard a lot of cases of specific dog breeds being ferocious towards small children and old people leading to increased dog bite cases and death in few cases. (Personally I feel even though street dogs bite cases are reported but still we hear more of these cases of pet dogs doing it so that's why) 3) To promote the native or indie dog breeds of India so as to solve the problem of stray animals and also control their population.

Mere Bhai ka same dog Well trained tha. sabse friendly tha. But one day, the dog bites the owner (my cousin) and others had to strike on dog's head to make him leave the hand of cousin. Cousin suffered 34 stitches in hand. Dog succumbed to head injuries after 2 days 😢 Sad but true. So this dog is really really dangerous.
