i am so watching this and to the people who think the dogs are in this movie just to "help sell tickets" or whatever the dogs are here BECAUSE THATS THE WHOLE MOVIE'S POINT DUH the movie's storyline is basically about how all 4 dogs help bring the 12 people together into their own families this is a definitely need-to-watch-movie for me

you know they had to replace the dogs because they weren't listening right? they may have brung them together on stage but in real life there monsters!! the first time they tried to film them they wrecked the props !

I feel the dogs are just there to sell tickets. It has no story arcs, no impact on the plots.....just there to sell tickets.

Well technically the one storyline where the dog gets lost and taken in by the other family that one relies on the dog lol since he would have no reason to grow closer to him if he didn't lose his dog.

And to be honest the dogs probably love doing that. They get extra special care and treats and probably get great belly rubs and stuff like that so I bet if the dogs had a choice they would want to be in the movie so don’t make it sound like it’s torture for the dogs. Being put in the pound is torture

Ricky The Movie Lover The only good modern dog movie is Isle of Dogs (that Wes Anderson movie that came out recently). But other than that, yeah; Secret Life of Pets, A Dog's Purpose, Show Dogs and this film all suck! Edit: I just saw Max (2015) a few weeks ago, and it was pretty good.
