Bystander effect. They assume someone else will be able to help. Also because stopping in the middle of the road in a car is dangerous as fuck. There is a reason why people WALKING by are the ones that helped.

Thank God you stopped and helped this injured dog while people drove right past her. You took her home and through love and much time she was healthy again. I love her name, little cutie. She has a wonderful home thanks to you ❤️
