Saw dog sledges up in Thule. Each May, third Saturday, the base sponsored a sledge race for the locals, with the first place prize being a hunting rifle. The big difference between Alaskan sledges and Greenlandic sledges is the way the dogs are connected. Alaskan sledges have the dogs in a line so they can navigate the trails in the woods. Greenlandic sledges use the fan method cause there's no trees.

I have a real hard time believing no one has their own personal pet dogs above the Arctic Circle!!!!!!!! however, regarding those sweet dogs, Which I'm assuming include many Siberian Huskies there, so I will say "From Russia with Love". I wonder how many of them, if they got the chance would actually do the nose tongue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
