This customer had a pole barn built a few years ago to practice their dogs. They compete in dog sports. When the barn was built, they had a clay silt put down on the floor. But soon they realized it was too dusty and became too hard packed to practice their dogs. After some research by the customer, they needed to add a few inches of mason sand to the entire floor. This will reduce the dust and will be softer for their dogs to run.
That's where I come into the equation! The customer has a crushed stone driveway and did not want the sand dumped in the driveway to avoid stone getting mixed in with the sand. They had seen that I had a dump truck that could fit in the 10 foot door and raise the bed enough(almost!) to dump in the 12 foot ceiling of barn. It took 30 tons of mason sand to cover the entire floor of the barn.
