Koda took this very seriously. I think it's clear he understood you were presenting him with different choices to see his reaction to each. And I think both dogs liked the thick water because it was food-like, more filling than just water. Both dogs "get" that sitting next to the little table means they will be given something to try.

A cute Bella episode idea would be different types of milk to see her favorite. Coconut, Almond, Oat, Soy, Rice, and kitty friendly Skim milk. Another one could be what does Bella like best. Canned tuna, salmon, oysters, or sardines. Maybe that would be an episode Bella approves of. 😅

This hit close to home with the thickening agent, my son has a gtube (feeding tube in his belly) we have to give water and meds through that, he chokes on thin liqud. he used to choke on all liquid but now he can drink from a straw, just not water and juice and stuff. Good place for me to bring awareness to it. The tube saved his life as a baby! The only thing we ever thickened was his formula and that was just with cereal lol we asked about this stuff and they said could cause dental issues later in life, and I was thinking the same that it would be gross lol but some people have to and there is no judgement here!

The worst tasting water I’ve had was recently. I flew with Avelo and the water bottles provided were disgusting.

Working as a dietitian they usually give patients with swallowing issues/dysphagia the water that has a lemon flavor because the unflavored is kind of off putting.

Cats like rainwater best, ours will bypass a bowl of clean, fresh tap water to go drink from a bowl outside that has some sort of green slime on the bottom. The full ‘natural pond’ effect. They also like water when it moves, like a fountain or running tap - you can buy cat bowls that have a little splashy fountain/wheel in if you fancy burning some money for mostly silly purposes :D

My choice would be smart water or fiji I'm an expensive water girl. But tap is fine once I filter it. I agree Dasani is disgusting it's also had bad news stories. But it is the one they tend to have more on planes and at amusement parks like Chels said so sometimes its the only bottled water option so I'll tolerate it. Curious now to try thickened water! haha 😂

We used the thickener in the long term care centre for the people who had trouble swallowing there pills .. it can be used with any liquid that isn’t carbonated or alcoholic

you should try giving Bella a fountain for cats and see how she reacts. Cats tend to prefer running water that is not next to the food bowl, since in the wild water that is still is usually not the best and they don't drink where they eat.

Thickener water is for people who have trouble swallowing, usually the elderly. To me Dasani tastes like a flat blah water. Wondering if it was safe to give the thickener or smart water or Liquid Death. Glad he drank less of those. Interesting vlog.

We have a water distiller in my house and we always gave my cat distilled water so she could tell the difference btw tap and distilled water.

I still cant get over the fact that people elsewhere in the world have to actually buy their water. Here we get 10/10 water straight from the tap. The best tasting water i've ever tasted tho is the water from our well at our summer cabin. The taste is so pure and the taste is just so fresh and alive, nothing beats that.
