"Mick Jaguar" Goes Hunting in the Pantanal, Brazil

Kathy and I spent many hours with "Mick" while he hunted for capybara or caiman to eat. Finally, at the end of the third day he was successful in capturing a good sized caiman.

Can't get enough of this apex predator; the jaguar is king/queen in the semi-aquatic Pantanal. Wow, the footage of this cat and its surroundings is remarkably good. The jaguar is fearless in its domain.

140 kg é o peso médio de uma Leoa bem saudável em estado selvagem. Com certeza uma Onça macho adulto conseguiria lutar de igual pra igual com uma Leoa. Sendo macho, cheio de testosterona, eu acho que até venceria.

That’s a big boy. You see the size of its head? Don’t get between those jaws. It’s night night. When caiman’s is on the menu of choice for food and killed with a bite force that pierces and crushes the skull, you know your bad animal.
