Hi Radhish, Thanks for your message, If you are applying for a masters in this field, they might want you to either show that it is in like with your first degree or your work experience. If this is not the case you might struggle with the study as a Masters is very challenging. I'd recommend you go for a course in line with either your first degree or work experience. It will also help you in settling into the work system here. You can work and study while doing your masters although it is part time and not necessarily a professional job. All the best

Hi Akinsola, I think you'll have to do a post graduate diploma first cos the minimum is 2'2 but it depends on the institution.

Please my sponsors acc is a corporate current account and he is my inlaw...Is it right to use it even thou i have never worked for them??.What do you advice in terms of using it? Secondly he sent me 2.5m from that acc, how do i represent it as proof if funds??

I don’t think they accept corporate accounts It should be in his name. If he sent you bulk amount then he might have to write a letter stating that this is a gift for your studies

If i can find a full time job while studies, is it not possible to change my visa type from student to employment visa and continue studies parttime?

Hi Upul, Yes if your company is willing to sponsor you while studying they can change your visa but your studies would still be full time. I'd say it's best to do this towards the end of your studies than at the start. All the best!

Hi Ebenezer, You'll need to check the requirements for each uni, some would say 2'1 but there are some that also say 2'2 as minimum requirement. check out cybersecurity at National University Ireland. I'm not sure but there might be others as well. All the best!

Hello, thanks so much for the information. I had paid 500 euros to accept my offer already, Can i pay 5,500 euros as deposit as part of visa immigration approval requirement? Being that I had made an initial payment of 500 euros as deposit to accept my offer to sum it up to 6000 euros? Thanks Kind regards

Yes when you pay 5500 you should get a receipt from the school of the total amount paid which should include your deposit summing up to 6000

Hi Adeshina, thanks for your message, there are several opportunities for accounting and finance in Ireland... the ACCA accreditation is widely accepted here and there are many centers for the training. FinTech is also a prominent industry you might consider.

Hi Asraf, An might not be necessary if you've had previous education in english. Find out from your college about their specific requirements but most times they might require that you write any english test not just IELTS. Other tests like PTE, TOEFL or even Duolingo can serve. All the best

Hi Fardeen, yes with a part time job students can pay their accommodation and feeding. This also depends on how you live.

Hi Sonia, Thanks for your message, There are several grounds on which visa can be rejected and one of them is showing a correlation between what you know or are currently doing and the course you are going for. In some cases the university might not even offer the admission. But in some cases it might be allowed if the course you are going for is not very technical. All the best

Hi Abimbola, It is quite high compared to other parts of Europe but there are also lots of job opportunities to match it up. What was your first degree in? An MBA is not a bad idea but you might be at a better advantage with some other courses. All the best!

Hi Bood'up Thanks for your message, For Ireland you'll need to pay school fees in full before resuming, I'm not sure if there are schools with the option of part payment especially if you are coming in from another country. there might be if you are already in Ireland. For the second question, yes you can get a work permit while studying. As long as you are able to secure a full time job within the period. Some people get one during the dissertation period/last semester. All the best!

Hi Vikkie Thanks for your message, You do not need an english test for the university admission if your previous degree was done in English but you will need an english test for the VISA anyways... It can be IELTS, PTE or any other as long as you pass the requirement score which is not too high. All the best
