Nail lady here. If your having a reaction from acrylic be careful using gel because they both contain acrylates and normally HEMA which are usually what most people are allergic to. I developed an allergy 2 years ago and can now only use dip powder on myself. If your fingers start itching and your cuticle area becomes red take the nails off immediately. Also the “dremel” is called an e-file lol. Another tip so you don’t cut yourself with the file is to “season” it, just take an old file and file the sharp edges of the one your going to use, one or two passes on each side should do the trick. Also you don’t have to wash after buffing, just dust the nails off with a fluffy brush or get a nail cleanser with lint free wipes.

@@NicolConcilio your very welcome! My reaction was so bad I had blisters on every finger and it pretty much ate through my real nails. It took a good 8 months for my real nails to heal.

Hi hun! A few tips from a licensed nail tech ☺️ after doing ph bond (dehydrator) make sure you don't touch the nail plate because that adds oil/moisture. If you need to reapply dehydrator, you can as many times as needed. Also make sure your flash cure lamp isn't projecting on your gel bottles, it can cure the product inside and cause service breakdown. Much love! You did great! 💖

Love you💚🖤! I too just started and it gets so much easier the more you do it. I've even been doing my sisters nails. I heard you don't need base coat after you buff the nail. I havent done this and just go straight eith polish and then top coat anf they don't chip. I recommend maybe getting pointy nail sticks to get rid of excess but girl you did great for the first time! If you continue please please keep uploading, these are always awesome to watch 😊 also for designs you can look into getting nail stickers - water decals - there are nail stamping templates so much you can do it gets overwhelming but honestly o love it !

You can at least dust off the debris with a scrubby brush after buffing that way no debris get caught under the gel!! Also it’s pronounced “model-ones” 😁

This is the perfect video!! I’ve been watching gel x nails videos a lot lately and I’ve been doing my nails too lol so I’m excited!! Please film more videos, super curious since you have sensitive skin…I’d like to use gentle products. FYI 😅it take me 3ish hours to remove and reapply aka do my nails lol 😂

I have tried so many times with the beetles kit using the full cover tips and my issue comes when it’s time to cut down the nails and file. They always look horrible after. I’m in school for medical assisting so I have to keep my nails short. If not I would leave the long length and not even bother cutting them.

Try hema free products. If you keep exposing yourself to whatever is giving you a reaction, the reaction can become permanent, to where it'll happen every time and with most nail stuff. Apres is great but has a decent amount of hema in it if I'm not mistaken.
