I was surprised to see them, since I have the same brand lol. They’re called loupes and commonly used in microsurgeries and dentistry. I think Mama Maples is actually in dentistry (either as a hygienist/dentist, or maybe an assistant? even if I’ve never really seen assistants use these).

As a licensed nail tech, you guys did really well for your first time! This reminded me of the first time I ever did acrylics on a person. It took me over 5 hours *facepalm* and the set was so bad. I don't consider myself the greatest at all when it comes to acrylics (my focus is more on soft gel and nail art) but I've come along way since then. Keep up the good work ☺

What is the nail polish ya’ll use and where can I get it? What do I need, like a UV light, it is it just air dry. I don’t do nails most of the time, but all this hand washing, sanitizing, and gloves required at work for 8 hours a day is making my nails crack and break into the quick.

I used to be a nail tech and my boss had me learn to do acrylics on myself before I could touch anyone else's nails. What was cool was he told me to put a tiny bit of cuticle oil on my nail before putting down the acrylic so that after I finished building the nail I could just wipe it right off and try again! I actually learned pretty fast and I'm so glad I'm able to do my own acrylics especially at a time like this because I need a longer nail surface for my nail art! ❤

I wish my mom and I had a relationship like this. She passed away when I was 22 and we never had any good memories like this. You'll have these videos to look back on for the rest of your life. Your babies and grand babies will be able to see all the love you all have for eachother. That is the most priceless treasure you could ever have.

I’m a licensed nail tech and let me tell y’all, when I was i school, learning to do nails, they weren’t even half as good as what you did! 😂 I remember doing them on my mom for practice and being like “i’m so sorry, i promise i’ll soak them off for you” 😅 Great job, ladies!

I'm old, so not her size, not into nails or fashion but I could seriously watch Mia for hours, she is so adorable... but her and mama Maples? The cutest two people together it's almost too sweet. I'm jealous. I wish I had had that with my mom growing up. She was a saint and Mia's mom reminds me of her so much but we were 30 years apart with nothing in common and I absolutely was not as sweet as Mia is. We were best friends when I grew up but man, this is beautiful to watch and I regret missing all those years. Yeah I know, this is weird to leave as a post on a youtube channel but I had to say it.

@@em84c omg I am so sorry that happened to you. No one should ever be talked to like that, especially from their mother. I understand though. I'm 51 next month and my mom passed away less than a month ago and the only reason I found out it happened was because I was calling to check how she was doing. My uh father told me she had passed away a few hours ago. Some parents suck. They say you can't pick your family but screw that. Those you love and the ones that love you are true family and that is all that is important in the end. Someone can give birth to you and even raise you but doesn't mean they have to be your family. I hope that makes sense. It is how I have lived since my father kicked me out at 15. His crap still hurts but I get over it a hell of a lot faster with my version of a family. :D
