Hi folks, NatNomad here. An ex-Buddhist monk from Laos with a big dream of seeing the world. Throughout my time for over 10 years being a monk I kept asking myself this one question "What life is like out there beyond the monastery?" And because of this question alone made me take a big step in 2014 when I finally say goodbye to my wonderful monastic life.
And now I'm doing what I've always wanted to do. Though I am not quite sure if I can say that I'm living my dream but you know what I'm loving my new adventure.
Please make sure to stick with me so we can explore new exotic places together.
Let the adventures begin!
Thanks so much for your support.

Subscribed. Your video description looks very interesting. I don't take train ride since post coup. I don't know how myanmar trains are look like now, even though I myself is a Burmese.

Thank you for subscribed to my channel. The train ride was nice. Less crowded compared to 2018.

What a scary encounter with the military! I'm glad u are safe. It was so nice of that man to teach you numbers. People watching is always interesting and the locals seemed very friendly. Hope you continue to have fun there.

What a great shame that you cannot travel by train for long distance in Myanmar. When I visited Myanmar in 2012 I travelled by train from Yangon to Mandalay and also to Moulmein and it was an unforgettable experience, although a VERY uncomfortable ride ! 😂😂😂😂

it is important to exercise caution, as there have been reports of drug additives stealing bags and jumping off trains while they are in motion.

When you said"we" as tourists? I asked for the train ride to Bagan, but the guy said that tourists aren't allowed to travel by train.

@@natnomad Hey bro I’m a Burmese living in Sri Lanka but I grew up in Hawaii and knew very little about my birth country Burma, until I found your videos. They are so informative and entertaining. Whenever you come back to Sri Lanka and need a place to stay, I got you bro. I have air b&b houses you can stay for as long as you want for free 👍 And keep making videos bro you’re like a gem that haven’t been found yet. I’m sure your channel’s going to be big someday 👌 ✌️

Thank you, I really enjoyed Sri Lanka back in 2019. If I ever planned to go back there, I'll let you know. Myanmar is so pretty, and the people are wonderful. I hope you get to come visit and enjoy its beauty.

Actually, it was neither gibberish nor numbers. He was teaching Burmese Vowels. U now know the very basic grammer rules from this guy.
