It's nice for PvP, but not really interesting in PvE content, like a dungeon or raid. When mana became not much of a worry in PvE (I would say around Wrath end game when every spec really became viable), they either had to rely on CC, burst, or strange mechanics like dampening in PvP (or some combination). There is a lot to this topic that could be flushed out: how the purpose and needs of mana is very different in PvE vs. PvP, and how can these differences be resolved. Ultimately, it failed to be an interesting mechanic for either form of combat, and this was when we saw the move to secondary resource systems for most mana users, which functioned the same in both forms of content (other than resources being used for utility/healing at the cost of damage potential or vice versa). I don't mind it if the game is in a state where mana management is not part of the game (as it gives something else to manage and solves the dilemma), but the question remains. Perhaps, since some form of resilience was used on PvP gear from BC until the start of WoD, they could have made it so that damage and healing used more mana the more resilience one had? (with a cap, of course) Would we still see strategies focused around extending the mana of healers, and drawing PvP fights out? Maybe someone else has a unique solution? This is something that tends to plague most MMORPGs, since the fundamental distinction is the difference in lengths of fights. In the end, the reason mana management left the game for casters was due to the conflicting needs of PvP and PvE, two very different areas of the game. We would need a solution that works for both systems, like energy, focus, and rage does.

@- I don't think is going to be any expansion. I loved the game until WOTLK and I wish it will go until there, but classic means no expansion at all.

@@TheGabone99 they'll definitely bring a tbc and wotlk server out. Just like they did with classic, but they'll keep the classic one classic. A vast majority love TBC and WOTLK, just like classic.

@@TheGabone99 me too man, and just my opinion. However I've heard alot of people say the same thing. Especially since arenas came out in TBC, and I know alot of pvp fans like that much more than BG's myself included.

Fire Ward absorbs an additional 10% of the caster's bonus Spell Damage, is my guess.. so i guess with that it absorbs more damage then frost ward... for the burst from fireblast

@@tylerchapman8856 The Succubus is right there behind Felhunters, but at least as an *Undead Mage* you have a *CHANCE* against a Warlock with a Succubus out. A Good Warlock will beat an 'alright' Mage any day. But a Great Mage has a shot against a Great Warlock..

@@tylerchapman8856 Cause even if you sheep the lock and go for the Felhunter, 9 times outta 10 the lock is gonna use the Fellhunter's devour magic on the poly, death coil you, wait for you to pop Will, then silence & re-fear 5seconds later... GG Whereas if they got the Succubus out, you can sheep the Lock and use Will to break the seduction, then nuke the succubus, counterspelling any subsequent Seductions.

He is a good player still its Nothing special.. Frost specced pvp mages with improved cs always win against elemental mage but ya cool xd
