I love ghost hunting. Your Chateau is so old with so much history. When the emf meter went off in the bedroom with all the antiques ; ghosts sometimes attach to their possessions..as in Loved furniture.

I've always thought that in "investigations" I see on TV! Go into a hayloft on a sunny afternoon and I guarantee they'll see thousands of "orbs". An orb is just a dust speck floating across the camera's field of vision, too close to be brought into focus.

Loved this episode. It was creepy at times but honestly you have lived there a long time with no horrible Incidences. If there are spirits in the Château they are nothing to worry about. Also some guests may like that factor, so I don’t think you would have to worry about bookings. I am very much looking forward to part two.

No. It doesn't have to be in French...and temperature changes (to a colder surrounding or a quick, slight breeze) are normal if there is a higher vibration with conscious energy. You'd be surprised at how many spirit energies are around us all the time. If you're going to do these, be serious about your intent, otherwise you may end up creating negativity...probably not a smart thing to do. In the room with a lot of antiques, it's important to remember that when having a human experience, some get attached to physical things...like a piece of furniture or a piece of jewelry. If what you are experiencing is residual energy and not a conscious energy it will manifest at the same time (hour, certain day or date, or.a certain year.)....if it's a conscious energy form, you can talk to them...they'll many times, find a way to let you know that they're still around. You can tell whomever it is that you know they're present...and if they'd like, they can speak into the recorder...set it down and leave it...LEAVE. ( it's really important to set rules..." you are welcome to be here as long as you are positive light...otherwise, you don't have permission to stay here...LEAVE" Negative energy from high emotional activities when a spirit was having a life experience tend to "record" ...especially when certain environmental properties are in the area....for instance quartz under ground...or bodies of water nearby.

I worked as a medium for many years and psychometry is one of my specialties. There is no way an old house like that wouldn’t have some stuff going on. Pretty much every where has a story if you know how to listen. Would love to read the chateau sometime.

Michael, before I forget, please tell Billy to lock the door that goes to the old dumb waiter shaft! I remember Sadie was showing it in a recent episode on "The Pethericks" channel and all I could think of was Earnest falling down it! I have found the Eqyptian 'Ankh' to be good protection from the negative/ destructive energies over the years, as a friend put me on to it, do don't need to wear one either but just put the image of the ankh in your minds eye and don't know why the ankh is a good protector, just something I have found.

I'm watching in the middle of the day, and right when the EMF meter went off I hear "Mum!...Mum!... Mum....!" and it sounds like it's in the next room. I'm alone in an old building, at work on standby, 400km from my children. Freaked. Me. Out. Finally got up to check; We back onto a nursing home and an old lady is yelling out for her mum at the fence directly behind me. Sad but at least it's sorted. I'm only glad that I wasn't watching at night... Just finished watching. This was a great episode, Michael. Very, very well done.

Loved! Loved! Loved this super creepy episode. The chateau is so old there would have to be spirits & residual energy left behind. Would love to know more about the history of the chateau. Billy, in a previous vlog said that in the attic, where “L Roger” was carved in the wood, had been an area where soldiers, maybe British soldiers were hidden during the war. Maybe double check with him on that. I think it was an episode where he & Ed were looking for hidden treasure in the attic. Thanks again, that was so much fun!

Ohhhhh myyyyy goooodnessss!! My heart was racing. Yes loved watching this. I owned a very haunted old house and just as you were describing the damp cold areas I also experienced those feelings. It would make your heart skip a beat from fear but we also would hear glass breaking. It got to the point where I firmly told our spirits to be nice to us because we had young children who I didn’t want to get frightened. After several months things calmed down. This video brought back those memories. There is absolutely no way your chateau wouldn’t be haunted with the many years of inhabitants, people most likely died there and the chilling fact that there was a hospital setup down in the basement adds to the possibility of spirits. Its very fascinating to say the least. Can’t wait for part 2!! Thank you Michael!!!

Just a few months ago my family and I were discussing my grandfathers house. I said I always got a weird hesitation at the bottom of the stairs. My mom look at me astonished and said " the previous owner fell down the stairs and died at the bottom!" I haven't been in that house since I was twelve and never spoke of my feeling until now nor had I ever heard that story! I am now fifty. The feeling came when I would go up the stairs, as if I had to step over something on the bottom stair. Subsequently, both my grandparents died in that home too, of natural causes.

These are all imprints- events that happened in the past can leave a memory on the place, natural materials such as woods and stones absorb these energies especially if it's a tragic and traumatizing event. not necessarily 'ghosts', but yeah..It's all part of having a historical chateu, you get both the good and the bad. I highly suggst you please invite a psychic medium to do some cleansing on the chateu on the next episode. Definitely looking forward to it.
