Περιγραφή
Η Λίμνη Δοϊράνη είναι διασυνοριακή, ιχθυοτρόφος λίμνη και σπουδαίος υγροβιότοπος στα σύνορα της Ελλάδας με τη Βόρεια Μακεδονία. Το όνομά της προέρχεται πιθανώς, από τους αρχαίους Δόβηρες, που ήταν Παιονικό φύλο, εγκατεστημένο στην περιοχή. Βικιπαίδεια
