This isn’t a remake. It’s a professionally recorded and mixed Karoke version. She is signing over the exact track without Courtney Love’s vocals. But, I am quite sure it had to be approved by the original creators to come out. And Doja sounds super sexy. Love her breathe in it. And I’d love to be her bass player when she’s ready to make a rock album 😜

Doja’s talent doesn’t seem to have a limit. She’s so versatile and tenacious in her music. She’s able to constantly evolve her music without sacrificing her quality. Not only is she an excellent singer, rapper and artist but she’s also a very natural gifted performer. To see her market herself into super stardom with satirical tracks like ‘MOO!’ all the way to to trying new innovative sounds or doing covers and genre-hopping is impressive as hell. As a underground rapper and producer myself, seeing how she has gone about the business thus far has been nothing short of inspiring. I also can’t help but be envious of her fans. Doja has some of the most diehard, loyal, positive fans I’ve ever seen. If I had even a tenth of the amount of loyal followers that she does, I could die happy. She deserves everything she’s accomplished so far and more. I can’t wait for what’s next for Doja! She never disappoints!!

@@tattttu9 Yes I did know! Doja has a way of innovating her sound by genre jumping in her own music tho too. There are several concerts where she will sing ‘Say So’ as if it were a rock concert instead of singing it the original way because she has noticed a lot of fans were getting tired of the original due to the popularity. I love how she innovates in ways like that. This may just be a cover, but it shows how versatile she really is!

Wow, I didn't expect these grungy rock vibes out of Doja Cat, but she's as versatile as ever! It didn't even occur to me that this was going to be a cover of THAT 'Celebrity Skin' until it started to play. I'm glad she stayed faithful to the original. In some ways, it takes more talent to do that than adapting it into a style the cover artist is more familiar with or known for. So, pretty cool.

Of course, her pop music has influences from those genres,,, but catergorizing her as hip hop when shes clearly doing a cover worries me about why you would say that. She just wanted to do a cover, how is this lazy? Artists do them all the time.

man i remember when you first blew up with moo and i’ve been obsessed since. It sucks that you’re quitting but I respect your decision people suck and unfortunately don’t care about anything unless it goes their way. Hopefully at some point you’ll come back to music but if not it was a good run and i’ve enjoyed every song, thank you for the good times.

I am in total love with Doja's vocals, everything about them. I don't care what the genre is... pop, r&b, hip hop, rap or rock, anything that comes out of her mouth is musical gold. And if Doja sang some blues, or country, or Broadway show tunes, the same thing would apply.
