Compare how many animations DBS broly has to make characters like goku vegeta gogeta and broly do. Even just think for yourself if you were and animator what would you make beast gohan do what feels like a beast gohan moment or move set, what's his battle style? It's hard to even imagine he was on screen for 2 seconds

The whining in this community is sometimes is unbearable to watch. Some people are delusional and call all of these animations mid. I don't know, man. Maybe, readjust your expectations? I think they did a really good job, especially for a character that has 3 minutes of screen time and does 2 attacks. I enjoy the creativity the most.

You're saying I should adjust my expectations of a massive multimillionaire company in middle of their game's absolute biggest celebration where they announced an ultra hype character? Mf, nothing was stopping them from just using previous segments of Gohan in the movie instead of risking it with the Dokkan original stuff. This is just another AGL VB accident where the entire focus went to a single attack (beast unit super, vegito special) and the intro (VB fusion, beast intro)

@@miss.floppa1637 I get your point. Dokkan should go all-out on big time celebration and I think they did already. This is the best anniversary ever. The character choices, the kits, the new difficult events, the EZAs and the animations as well. I don't think they risk anything then they use Dokkan Original animations. They're getting better and better with them; in future they need to rely on Dokkan Original animations because the majority of the source material for hype characters becomes slim. In my opinion the most existing thing in Dokkan, for me, are Dokkan Original animations. It opens the possibilities for a any new Gogeta and Vegetto or it makes characters much more hype. Future Gohan without the Father-Master-Kamehameha would have been pretty dull.

Wait I'm actually underwhelmed. As a beast fan even for fraudhan I think I prefer his over this(besides beast unit attack). Just compare the active skill of fruadhan to this unit and you can see a massive difference, stylistically worse off. 18 Ki is God Vegeta Tur super or RoF blue Vegeta. That's Vegeta's technique! :0 why not a KameaWHAMA? This celebration in terms of animation is high but not for me. Gogeta suffers from 2x speed and is basically a flashbang of "i have no idea what is going on but he's hitting him 👍" so it's unwatchable for me. Broly is spectacular. Edit: incase people go "but you're comparing an active to supers/intro". Fair but look at beast intro, they didn't have to change much as they already had a groundwork done and beast active is one still image basically. All their budget probably went to storyboarding the original animation.

it just appears as soon as hes on rotation, you might just have the intro turned off in the settingsm

@@Manu-rk7bl I don't think the Vegito super animation is a good comparison. They have tons of material to pull from to put that super together and Gohans had roughly 5 minutes of screen time.

Here's the thing: they had so few movie animations to work with that this looks decent enough considering they're Dokkan Originals BUT that is also why they should've just done a proper Beast Gohan to begin with. Instead they've split the baby by having an unsatisfying Ultimate Gohan a year ago and a kinda unsatisfying Beast Gohan now cos they already wasted the best animation. Such a shame.

You took my words out of my mouth. The 12 ki looks bad straight up. The intro is mostly all taken from the beginning of the active from fraud han. The solo 18 ki is pretty good but nowhere near Vegito special or Gogeta special. The active skill is probably the best animated but it's way too short(VA direction is also off but that's really subjective) and finally the dual attack 18 Ki is gorgeous, no complaints there. Overall a pretty mediocre release for what was supposed to be the most hype release in modern dokkan. This is coming from some who LOVED the 7th anniversary animations for the ssj4's. *All of them*.

My standards aren't even high , I LIKE THE BLUE BOY'S INTRO FFS! Hell even SOH trunks looked better in most of his animations. This is literally the first release in a long time I've been disappointed in, y'all Dokkan defender's need to calm the fuck down.

Beast Gohan is just SSJ 2 Teen Gohan all over again but a modern version and I love it 🔥! The animations are really good even if they’re not to the same caliber and standard as Broly and Gogeta. Then again DBS Broly movie source material has way better animation compared to Super Hero.
