Lynch 62yrs and Still Killing it... It's so easy for me to keep up with his age Because I was born 9-21-74 and he was Born 9-27-54. Exactly 20 years and 6 days apart in age Plus I started Playing at 10 years of Age and He did as well... 32 years for me and 52 years for Him... Awesome He's been playing over Half a Century!!! Damnnnnnn

George Lynch is playing half assed here. And still sounds better than most guitarist at thier best. Lynch Rules!
@chuckyspell4 жыл бұрын
There was still a whoa moment in that solo around 2:32 that would send the little guitar boys like myself home crying. lol This is definitely a nice version of half assed.

Dont get me wrong, i love Don Dokken, but years of that lifestyle caught up with him. The guy can barely sing, but hey, they still rock.
@kingofdragontown96804 жыл бұрын
Ah yes, the lifestyle of cancer and chemo that he didn't ask for.

It's kind of strange seeing George and Jeff trade stage sides as compared to the 80s.
@chuckyspell4 жыл бұрын
Back in the day, you couldn't really find George near a backing mike. That's a welcome change.

Big advantage with the use of in ear monitors now. Back then they had to stand behind their respective wall of amps to hear themselves.

It's so unfortunate that Don's voice has gone so far south.
@143Chippy1437 жыл бұрын
Its even more unfortunate that they waited this long to get back together.. Father time comes calling very early for aging Rock singers especially ones that sing so high like Don.
@carvinblack7 жыл бұрын
He could get some of his old voice back if he wasn't so stubborn like Axl Rose. They think they are above taking vocal lessons. Not necessarily be able to hit those high notes, but he could get some of that gravel and power back at least.
@davidferris48287 жыл бұрын
that's what all those Marlboros and 7&7's (booze) will do to your voice...lol...

People keep dissing Don but I actually like that he doesn’t try to sing like he did in the 80s. He’s aware that he can’t so he compensates and does well. I’d rather hear someone sing and stay within the melodic structure and right key than to sing something they can’t anymore and hit sour notes. You sound good Don. Now poor David Coverdale… that’s another story.
@kingofdragontown96804 жыл бұрын
It makes him a better singer, because he can adapt after a battle with cancer.
@j.t.cooper296310 ай бұрын
Great song and band but Don's voice was already on it's way out here. There's no way they could ever do this again because he just talks the lyrics out now.
@bags51507 жыл бұрын
Don might as well mailed this in only thing worst then Dons performance is Joe Elliot's half ass performance s.

Turns his back to the audience while playing solo. C’mon man!

Maybe Pilson should just sing?
@jasondenne7909Ай бұрын
If you listen Jeff’s backing vocals, you begin to realize he is singing the lead. Don’s on the bottom of the vocal stack (where Mick used to be). Don’s still out front, Jeff and Mick are doing the heavy lifting vocally. George can’t sing, so don’t know why he has a mic in front of him. Probably to get under Don’s skin. Jeff’s the most well rounded musician in the band, always has been. A true rocker and pro.
@runrunrun67777 жыл бұрын
I wish they would have played this back when Don could still sing (and remember the lyrics), and George could actually play the rhythm part correctly. Oh well, i guess this is better than nothing...
