This story kind of reminds me of this Creepypasta I found. I think it was called the girl in the photograph. Like the clown doll holding up 3 fingers and after it killed somebody it held up 4 fingers. With the girl in the photograph somebody found a picture of a girl making a peace sign. But the person who found the picture died and another person found the picture but the girl was holding up 3 fingers.

I am so scared of dolls and exactly the dolls that are stuffed because before 45 days I bought a doll just to put on the shelf and tge doll had a knife and it just was made of plastic and everyday at 3 am "tge witching hour" I noticed that everyfay at this hour there is a blood drop on it and I think it is weird but at the same time I didnt think it is something paranormal I thought that the blood drop was on the knife as a design but after a few days I noticed that everyday the blood increases and then one day we where going to a picnic and after 4 hour I had come home and I saw the doll hangimg in the fan and I really creeped out and then we bringed the preised because in our culture we blessed our house every two months and when the preist came he said that there is a presence of an evil sprit and he said bring every stuffed and he said that my doll is haunted thst was my scariest moment in my life.anyways Luv U

Oh my god! My friend told me this story, but it was a bit different. A bit before you got to the part where you mentioned the fingers, i was like "i should comment telling her to do it!". The way i heard it was a little hippie doll from an antique shop that was holding up two fingers like a peace sign (hence hippie doll). and the person bought it and didnt think anything of it bc yknow its a hippie theyre into a peace and then the story folded out essentially like this one
