Have you ever read the House of Night series? The whole purple for spirit, the wings and various other details remind me of a few characters from that series. Zoey Redbird, the main character, is changed into a fledgling and has to move to The House of Night. Without spoiling anything for you if you haven't read the series, she ends up having a special bond with purple which is tied to the element Spirit. The wings remind me of the Character Kalona who, in the series, falls from the Goddess, Nyx's, side and ends up in the mortal world. He is of Cherokee origin and as I already said, he has wings. If you haven't read the series you should because this doll meshes into the series in very fascinating ways. Especially if you haven't read the series. The first book is titled Marked and it's by P.C. Cast and Kristen Cast. I cant recommend them enough. I've been obsessed with the series since the very first book which came out when I was 16 and now I'll be 30 in August. Even My husband who turns 51 in August enjoyed the series. There are 12 books in The House of Night series and 4 novellas for The House of Night series. Then on the 10 yr anniversary of Marked, the first book of HoN series P.C and Kristen Cast started the House of Night Otherworld series that is now finished and has a total of 4 books. Its a commitment but I can't recommend this series enough.
