Me, unable to fold a passable paper plane, sitting in my bed at 1 am with a dollar bill that has been through hell and back: I got this.

i think the hardest part of this whole thing was finding a crisp dollar bill

my question is, how the hell did someone come up with this?

great tutorial. I tried to fold this from a tutorial with no commentary, and i got totally lost! It helps so much to have you explain it so well. There was a funny moment in the middle where you said "come on, focus! Focus!" And it took me a moment to realise you were talking to the camera and not to me haha. Great video :)

It's a great piece of art but the lighting you're using makes it very hard to see what crease you are pointing at and you move the dollar around which is confusing as I'm not sure which side you're working on. Love the origami very pretty

Tried to make this for my dad for Father’s Day. Ended up crying out of frustration an hour in. I thought it would be really cool and I’m very disappointed in myself and my skills. A tip for the creator: maybe you could edit the video a little more. There were parts where you would tell the viewer to do something and then say oh no no don’t do that and it caused confusion. Also, it’s very hard to see the lines on the dollar in the video so maybe you could put a red line over which lines you are talking about to avoid confusion. Thank you for reading.

OMG! I wish I had the time to bring this out in one day. This is my third day and I'm almost finished thank the Lord. The hardest part of this fish is this guy's tutorial hands down. I don't like to hate but holy crap this guy is brutal to listen to and watch fiddle with the freaking fish

I tried to make this once and it ended in failure. You need a REALLY crisp bill to do the scales.
