Finally, I had found the written instructions a couple years a back and gave up pretty quickly when I couldn't quite get it. But watching someone else go through it in a video was incredibly helpful, I got it thanks to this.

great tutorial. I tried to fold this from a tutorial with no commentary, and i got totally lost! It helps so much to have you explain it so well. There was a funny moment in the middle where you said "come on, focus! Focus!" And it took me a moment to realise you were talking to the camera and not to me haha. Great video :)

it's a very good tutorial. But i feel like sometimes you don't know what you are doing, and you just make it more complicated to do. But, thanks for the tutorial anyway. I still can finish the koi fish :)

I've tried it and it came out looking like doodoo so next time I get a nice dollar I'll try it again watching this instead of looking at that diagram thing. Hahah. ^^ P.s. How long? i remember folding simple things like cranes and baskets in elementary school :) And i just got more and more advanced from there

It's a great piece of art but the lighting you're using makes it very hard to see what crease you are pointing at and you move the dollar around which is confusing as I'm not sure which side you're working on. Love the origami very pretty

Tried to make this for my dad for Father’s Day. Ended up crying out of frustration an hour in. I thought it would be really cool and I’m very disappointed in myself and my skills. A tip for the creator: maybe you could edit the video a little more. There were parts where you would tell the viewer to do something and then say oh no no don’t do that and it caused confusion. Also, it’s very hard to see the lines on the dollar in the video so maybe you could put a red line over which lines you are talking about to avoid confusion. Thank you for reading.

OMG! I wish I had the time to bring this out in one day. This is my third day and I'm almost finished thank the Lord. The hardest part of this fish is this guy's tutorial hands down. I don't like to hate but holy crap this guy is brutal to listen to and watch fiddle with the freaking fish
