Base cost is different though, because your putting polish over that so it will cover the colour of the base coat. But the top coat will show the colour.

I legit got the best lipstick I've ever had from the dollar store. Felt smooth like chapstick going on, color was even, and got tons of compliments. I'm not a makeup person but if the lipstick makes you feel good, it's $1 well spent.

i know this one is a few years old now but i think influencers filming in stores is becoming more common and thus more acceptable and also the dollar store isn't known for paying great wages so probably a combination of the two is what caused them not to kick you out this time

dollar stores are an originally american thing, and the conversion from $1 american to canadian dollars is $1.25! they’re selling them at $1.25 canadian because it’s the same as $1 american, if that makes sense :)

Actually, everything in the dollar tree is 1 dollar. But American money converted to Canadian money inflates. So let’s say in America you get 300 dollars from something. In Canada you’d get more money but it’ll still be worth the same. :)

PROTIP: the bristles on the brushes were stuck together due to the stuff the company puts on the bristles to keep their shape. To fix that, just wash the brush under some water.
