The Dollar Tree has mini Christmas trees, and there are SO many ways to use them. I've shared some Christmas tree DIYs from the Dollar Tree, but there were so many ways to upcycle and DIY and hack these trees, I wanted to put them together into an entire video! I'm sharing everything from how to make DIY snow flock from the Dollar Tree, how to turn the mini trees into swag,and how to create an over 3ft tree using mini trees, and so much more!

To make a taller tree you can also use a long dowel rod inside the metal stem of the tree all the way through each tree it works very well....I love your ideas for these trees some of them I have never seen...thank you

I used several of the first trees in that same tin to decorate the tables in my restaurant last year. Definitely didn't know about using the garland to fill it in. That's a great idea!

I watched another take a wooden dowel and slide three trees on it (the center rod as you could see here is a tube). She filled in with garland, just like you did, but kept it slender and ended up with substantially tall pencil tree! Oh, LOVED your Baking soda flocking advice! I think I saw Olive on the white trees. She is a doll baby!

We got a new tree this year...much bigger (fake) but im having a ball using my old much smaller tree's pieces...took the whole top and have an adorable mini tree and all the little pieces are becoming swags and wreaths and anything else my DIY mind can think of...my fiancee asked me why i couldn't handle throwing it out lol...he should have known by now that i wasn't going to be able to do that!! I'm like look at all the things im making!! HELLLOOO! So yeah if anyone gets a new tree don't dispose of the old one there's endless possibilities!! Love all of your ideas...I'm gonna be flocking my mini tree now! Thanks!

I bought 2 trees from dollar store and unwrapped all the branches from both trees. It took awhile to unwrap all the thread holding the branches on both trees but so worth it. As I worked I put the different sizes in separate piles. Then I rewrapped everything onto one tree scattering the branches. Not going to lie my fingers started to cramp a little bit but it was totally worth it in the end. I reused the thread that was already holding it together and it was much sturdier than before I actually had a few branches fall off when I took it out of the box and it would of been trash if I didn't stop and think about it. Now I have a nice full tree and it only took about an hour and I watched KZfaq videos while I worked. If I bought a tree this full at the store I would of paid 20 dollars and I only paid 2 dollars

I've followed your ideas, and i'd like to add another : at my DT, they've started carrying SEA SALT, and KOSHER SALT is similar.. .You can get that pretty much anywhere, any larger grocery store carries it. As you did with the spray glue technique, though for this application made the glue less watered-down. . . . .I did that and sprinkled the large, chunky salt that actually sparkles a little. . .. . A TINY bit of glitter can be a good add-on too. . . .. ... ... . . I also use that salt on other craft projects. . . . . I THINK Kosher salt is very similar in its grain-size, but I'm not sure. Your cutie-pie dog hopefully won't be licking-around as they tend to do, and start salivating over the salt and . . well . . make for a less-than-happy Christmas story.

I wish so much our DT had these trees! I have never seen them in ours or the 2 in the counties beside me ... that is what happens when you live in the mountains.. love where I am from no matter what though 😁🎄 love love your ideas
