Thank You! This is the best design yet for making your own stamp positioned. This design would work for making a full size one also. All you would need is the 8” x 10” acrylic frames, a larger sticky cutting mat, a longer dowel and longer pieces of vinyl. So simple and economical. It’s wonderful! This is GENIUS!!!! I am very good at recreating expensive things, that get the job done, for a fraction of the price. I have pondered this and though I had an idea of how I would do it, the prices of materials did not make it cost effective enough to bother doing. THIS, is perfection and right up my alley. I even forced my husband to watch it (he doesn't have a crafty bone in his body, lol) and he was amazed and impressed at your ingenuity. He even offered to go immediately to the dollar store to get supplies ... I think he was as excited as I was to see this come together, lol. So thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!! It takes a lot to impress me because I always figure it is something I could have/would have done myself. But this is easy, inexpensive and practical. Great job!!!!!!!

You can also use a 8x10 picture frame, a note pad and duct tape. Take apart the picture frame. Leave the acrylic front. Duct tape the back piece to the frame on the backside. To create the hinge. Place the paper pad in the frame. This is your platform. Stamp away and enjoy.

I really appreciate low-cost ways to get high-end results. Those ready-made stamping platforms can be too expensive for many crafters and this is a great option. I've seen some pretty amazing cards and albums done with nothing but a ruler, a pair of cheap scissors, and a pencil. No fancy Cricut machine or Crop-o-dile or any of that. Just imagination and a desire to make. Love it, and thank you for sharing this!

This is one of those exceedingly rare cases in which I’ve woken up to find something on my You Tube feed [.. or my FB feed.. or truly just stumbling across any sort of advertisement being marketed towards me *anywhere* on the internet 😅] that I have * NEVER * once looked up on my iPhone or iPad - but creepily enough I just so happened to be talking about the “brand name version” of one of these (unknowingly) with my close friend, right before bed last night! - And when I thought I was being a creative genius (for truly believing I had been the first to concieve of this “fantastic idea” that “someone should really hurry up & jump on creating so they can capitalize on it!” 😂😂) He began laughing so hard he was in tears because of how proud I was of myself 😒😁 (& then proceeded to inform me of the “Misti” Stamping Platforms.. both original & the recently released Version 2 - i guess - Well of course I was ECSTATIC! Until he told me the average cost for one!! .. Well .. As I began this comment turned novella: This IS one of those exceedingly rare cases in which I’ve woken up to find something on my You Tube feed/ “Home Page” .. in which I have never once searched on any piece of technology for anything remotely related to stamping platforms [DIY or not]- HOWEVER! *it’s one of those rare cases* in which I am far too blown away & overjoyed that such incredibly creative people such as yourself exist ❤ Because now I can run out to purchase enough supplies to make 2 (one for my friend to surprise him! How clever you are!!! Buying a Precision Press changed my horror of stamping into a love of it! It’s makes stamping so easy w/ perfect results every time! I can’t imagine being w/out it. Everyone needs one, but they are pricy. Now, w/ your ingenuity, anyone can have a stamp platform-yea!!! Just today I watched another uTuber test out Temu stamps w/out using a platform. Pure genius. You solved my wanting to make a lid for a box problem. I'd looked at buying hinges, rolled paper crafts and more. Who knew a pencil or wooden dowel, some faux leather, and hot glue solves my issue. All which I already have. I can't thank you enough 💕💕

Wooooo this is so exciting. I bought acrylic stamps from the DT years ago even though I don’t have ink pads. Well I just learned that you can use watercolor and many other things instead!!! I googled diy stamp press and this video was the first thing that popped up. So pumped that my old dollar tree addiction is paying off because I already have everything in this video!

I was totally shocked for it looked like something you would purchase. Your demonstration on producing this so needed little traveler stamp pad was so detailed it would be hard to make a mistake in reproducing this item. And then to see how well it worked was great. This is brilliant. Really great idea. And unless you're doing a lot of stamping on big sheets, you don't really need anything bigger! Also, look for a quilling glue bottle, as they have tiny nozzles, great for things like the 'faith' word you have.

I could not find the Grafter Adhesive Square. I cut up one of the smaller version from Dollar Tree. It's thicker and had to use 2 way tape to Cling to the frame. Not as neat as yours but it will serve the purpose. We love you Christy❤️❤️❤️

Hi Christy: I bought enough for two, so made one for me first to test it. Works perfectly! Your tutorial was so easy to follow. My glue gun didn’t stick as well as yours did, so I’ll try something like E6000 or 527 when I do my sister’s. Thank you for the great idea. 💜😎🇺🇸
