You can use that same recipe using lemonade Kool-Aid and that would make a very good lemon box pie. Try that one it is awesome

I mix the koolaid into the milk and then fold in the cool whip so it sets up better.

I remember getting this recipe from a coworker years ago. I used to make it for my kids at Easter we would use the mini pie shells and split the recipe with two different flavors of koolaid so they weren't all the same flavor. My kiddos have moved out for a few years now so I haven't made this in a while... thanks for the memories

Try an Angel Food cake mix and add a can of pie filling (favorite of your choice), mix and bake according to package. Just 2 ingredients and oh so good, and the best part it is low calorie.

It works great to do that. Usually you use jello in the cheese cake instead of koolaid

this pie is so much better with a regular baked crust and you can also replace the koolaid with any pudding mix. my fave is cream cheeze pudding

i tried this and I love it thanks...also the tab on top of the milk can is for pulling off the top like a can of sausages . Then you can just spoon it into the bowl....

Put your unopened can of condensed milk in a pan of hot water for 10 mins before opening and it will pour right out. Don't forget to shake before opening!!

My mom used to make a pie using cool whip jello doing the same thing mixing the jello in the cool whip and putting it in the pie crust. I will try your idea soon and let you know what I think

I have a recipe something like this, but you use a packet of any flavour jello, make it according to directions but using a quarter less cold water, let set for approximately 15 minutes then add 3/4 of the tub of cool whip set in fridge for about an hour or longer then slice. In the summer when we have outdoor parties to go to I make 2-3 different flavours it’s a hit

@@BeautyandtheStamper Yes. If you use dry instant pudding and mix it with the cool whip, it's like a mousse pie. I do chocolate that way a lot, but, I use the ready made Oreo pie crust for chocolate. Then I put more cool whip on top and shave a little chocolate on top. Looks like I worked hard to make it. Lol

Ghetto Kool-Aid Pie. Ever tried Ghetto Chocolate Bananas? Just cut up some bananas and pour Hershey's Chocolate Syrup over them... easy as pie. Straight out of The Projects, jack!

If the can you're opening has a pull ring, don't use it. Use a regular can opener and a rubber spatula.

I tried this recipe. My only complaint was the flavor from the Kool-Aid was a bit too strong. I used tropical punch flavor. I wanted cherry, but they didn't have it at the store I bought the ingredients from at the time. I wonder if the Oreo cookie pie crust would have been better to counteract the extreme Kool-Aid flavor?

IT WOULD BE NICE TO MAKE THE PINEAPPLE ANGEL FOOD CAKE RESCIPE, ITEMS FROM DOLLAR TREE. BUT OUR DOLLAR TREE DOES NOT CARRY ANGEL FOOD CAKE MIX. ZION, ILLINOIS. THANKS.
