Dollar Tree DIY Ribbon Holder

This is such an EASY ribbon holder. I've been looking for some way to display my ribbon. When I saw these baskets at the Dollar Tree I knew I had struck gold. Good luck, thanks for watching, and don't forget to subscribe.

This would also be great for us crocheters who could use this to put their skein of yarn on and just pull on it as they needed it. Fantastic idea!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!

I really love this and need several. Was excited to make them but our dollar tree doesn't even have dowel rods. Of course I can get those anywhere but no baskets either nothing even that would work for ribbons. We have the worse dollar tree they just don't carry anything that I have found on Utube to make. 😪 Thanks for your idea very brilliant.

Oh I know, that is so frustrating! I have several DT stores near me and they all carry different things.

I've arm several using the dowel method. That's find to just pull it out but I'd rather be able to lift the roll of ribbon out for most projects. This method is not convenient for that. Ideas?

As my ribbon collection has grown....I now have curtain rods mounted and the ribbon sitting on the rod.

Tell me how I've already came up with the exact same basket and dowel rods .....just didn't think to stack them....I used it for ribbons and spools of thread

But.. how do you take out the tape in the middle? Take the whole tapes out? Too cumbersome. Tho, good idea.

What size are the dowels, dollar tree doesnt carry them so i wanted to try walmart but they have all different sizes

I bought a pack from DT. You can buy the longer ones from Walmart and cut them to the size of your basket.

Thanks! I usually do craft at school, the lighting is better and I have a much bigger table...LOL However, with Covid I'm crafting at home. I have completely revamped my crafting space and organized, organized, organized. YES!!! Share your business page with me.
