Dollar Tree DIY Wrought Iron Mirrored Wall Sconce - Quick & Easy Less than $3

Hi everyone, here's another Dollar Tree DIY using the plastic fence from the Dollar Tree. This is how I made a wall sconce with light using Dollar Tree items. It only cost less than $3 to make. Enjoy!

Complete List of Materials:
1 8"x10" Dollar Tree silver framed mirror - $1
1 Dollar Tree plastic garden fence - $1
1 Dollar Tree battery operated votive light - 2/$1 (you only need 1)
Scissors or box cutter
Hot glue gun plus glue sticks
Any permanent or strong bond glue like E6000, FixAll, Super Glue, or Gorilla Glue

LOL, thanks Jeanne. I do get ideas on things they have and wonder what they could be turned into. I've been doing DIYs since I was a kid. I used to pick up dried twigs and make them as art pieces. Very pretty. Another great idea using the fence pieces from dollar tree. I can NEVER FIND ANY OF THE MIRRORED FRAMES!!! So many of your projects using frames I want to do, but i just can't find the stuff. I guess my towns nearby are just too small. Lol. Great job Josie

Thanks, Deb! Lately, I haven't been able to find a lot of mirrors too. One time I saw one and took it, but it had a scratch! I hope you find what you are looking for soon. Sometimes, depending on the local store management, they buy only what's been selling a lot in an area, so that they do not have to deal with overstock. I love it, but my OCD nature wants the sides to be even. I’d either have to cut it the same width or cut the sides off. Still like it a lot though.

Hi The Clever Mommy, watch my latest video Dollar Tree DIY Farmhouse Style Terrarium at 3:41m. I found a way to fix it by using thin foam and painting it. Hi Sandra, thanks...I did not paint the frame white because I kept it silver. I plan to use it along with other silver finished items in the house. But, you're right, the previous sconce I made that I painted white were lovely. TFW, hugs~ Josie :)

Hi Sandra, I see. The other DIY I made using 4 DT frames that came already painted? I believe they are still available, maybe just getting sold out. I've seen a haul showing 3 types of colored frames that are very farmhouse in style. One is in blue. I am trying to look for them to see if I can make something out of them. I havent been able to find mirrors at any of my local dollar trees recently :/

Hi jorytory, I hope your local DT will get the mirrors soon. I checked and they are still available on the website. You could probably talk to your local DT to see if you can order 1 unit (24pcs) online and only take the ones you need and they can sell the rest. I read somewhere here on YT someone mentioning that. But, do check with your local DT first...unless of course you can use all 24, you can have the unit delivered for free to your local store! Thanks for watching. Hugs~ Josie :)
