My step mother passed away over the weekend. I think these just might be perfect to make up as keepsakes for family. I had seen the “flaminguins” before and noticed the wings reminded me of angel wings. But I just couldn’t figure out the how-to. Thank you for a giggle (I needed that) and the idea. What in tarnation??? Well, consider me blown away. I love this crazy but lovely idea! The other day I bought three of those silly flamingos, thinking I would spray paint them black for Halloween decor in the front yard. Well not now! One of them is going to become angel wings. I love the angel wings. With arthritis using the exact knife would be really hard for me...but a woodburning tool would open up that seam in a hurry and since you are painting it anyway I think it would be OK. Love this idea!
