I think spraying it with a metallic paint first before the chalkpaint would make it look more metal than plastic. But that would depend on what your final outcome is🐇

We love this type of video! Everything was nicely done. My little girl’s favorite was the watering can and the pot of lavender. My favorite was also the watering can and the mod podge tray.💜

Mary, when I saw "Dollar Tree Makeovers" I rolled my eyes. I find the Dollar Tree products so cheap/junky. HOWEVER, you did an awesome job transforming these items into beautiful home decor. I'm heading out tomorrow to pick up some of those plastic garden fences and several of the towels. Great job!! Great transformations!

Mary, you're a crafts genius! Your tutorial shares of such beautiful creations at these low costs is much appreciated. Now I'm eager to make ALL of them. Especially, the fence project in a rustic verdigris finish, to go on the back wall of our screened porch. It could feature varying seasonal wreaths with a shelf below for coordinated small pots of fresh herbs/sunflowers/winter evergreens/glass votives. And, please, show more of these vids.

Loved the flower modge podge projects! 🌱🌷 Just fyi; the easiest way to get labels off anything is a drop of lemongrass oil. If you rub it on the label, wait a couple seconds, then it peels right off. I too get annoyed with the residue from glue on labels as I reuse glass jars too.

I saw your basket from the store and thought, "oh my, that was me a year ago." Dollar Tree became known as the "$40.00" tree. I never got out of there with less than $40. worth of merchandise. It adds up and so does the space it takes up. But all in all, that is what kept me sane during the pandemic.

My fav was the frames with the Peter Rabbit story. So sweet! Love everything you do. I use green a lot and like the green you used on the little tray. Really like to see how people repurpose items. Great job!👍
