My daughter is a merchandise manager at Dollar Tree. There is no overnight shelf stocking. They can’t afford to pay for additionalovernight shift, in order to keep prices low as possible. Here ic Ca. DT gets ther shipments on Thursday. So Fridays things start getting pushed out. Hey keep staff hours low. So product goes out everyday.

@@amieekobielnik No overnight stockers here at my stores in IN. I'll see from time to time cashiers running back & forth from stocking to cashiering. Also, I have seen during the day stockers only & they do nothing else at that time. I believe most states don't have night stockers.

Thank you for all this information about shopping at Dollar Tree. I didn't know you could use coupons there. Of course it makes sense to check the size and weight of the product to make sure it matches. I have only one Dollar tree in my area and can only go there about once a month when my Social Security comes in, and then when my daughter gets off work if she has the car for that day. I don't drive, it is best that I don't, so I depend on others to get me to places that are not within walking distance. Now Dollar General is within walking distance. I take along my collapsible shopping cart to make it easier to get things home. I don't always find the same items at Dollar Tree as I find crafters using, but I can usually find items that I can use. I can also find my shelf stable plant milk and veggie burgers and other foods I am able to eat. I also find foods my son likes and foods we both like. We both love gnocchi mixed with a mild salsa with corn and sliced black olives added. I usually make enough so that we can have leftovers for the next day. Okay, now I know what to get for a few meals next month. Sometimes I kick it up a notch by adding sautéed red onion, and multi colors of bell peppers. Again, thank you for sharing this information.

A few months ago my local DT told me that they now accept returns with a receipt. I think it's because of the higher prices.

our DT sells Ben & Jerry ice cream for $5 . It's cheaper to go to our local grocery store that sells them to members for $4

Another you tuber who shops DT says that some products are only shipped to the DT stores with larger square footage. I have found that true in my city. We have smaller DT stores & much larger ones. The smaller ones always have basics, but maybe not many popular seasonal items that the larger DT with more shelving has.

Any Dollar Tree I’ve ever been in is restocking all day long. There are always boxes of stuff in the aisles and employees unpacking them.

That policy has changed. Dollar tree does now do refunds as long as you have your receipt

I find it difficult to exchange at Dollar tree unless you have a receipt. I don't know if all stores do this but I find they ask you if you want a receipt when you're paying and I typically say no but since I've had to exchange some crafting items I bought and wasn't going to use I now take the receipt. And hold on to the mall lol

I live in the Phoenix metro area. We have a ridiculous number of DTs out here. Some are awful, some are pretty good. There is one that is WAY across town, like 40 minutes away, that is OMG excellent. I will make that drive!

Just fyi dollar tree does accept returns now, they have always done exchanges but now you can return and have it back in the form of payment that you originally used…see the notice on the ledge where you would sign a return receipt(at least that is where it is at my stores)

Hi Jamie....love your DT tips and tricks👍 I typically shop there on Tues or Wed.....I definitely avoid Fri, Sat, and Sun as I always see the parking lot packed! I also shop at Dollar General a lot lately...they have $1. items. If you have one of those stores in your area....could you do a haul or tips and tricks there? Yes! Dollar general penny items! I’ve heard about it but not sure how it works. I hope you don’t have to have an app! But if it’s easy, I may consider. My DT in my area gets their inventory on Wednesdays. One of them, the best one ever in my area, was seen stocking those shelves first thing Thursday morning. I happened to have a day off and thought I’d drive out a bit further than the other dinky ones close to me. I’d never been in that one before and oh my bajevis!!! I was in there for about 2 hours and bought about $90 worth of stuff! Some was for me, some for my sister. They had everything! I could hear angels singing as I went in! I’m stocked with a lot of things. I want to go back but I have to do something with the stuff I have now. I’ve got some ideas, just not a lot of time. But I’m working on it. Your channel has inspired me a lot! Thank you!! Stay safe!❤

@@1ronmad1nI love that you heard angels singing when you entered the store you had never been to before! I'm so glad you got to experience this. I was finally able to find a store like that and spent over 3 hours shopping too. You gotta love a good Dollar Tree and a good Dollar General store.

@@darlaavard3318 and it was clean and orderly! Even if it was first thing in the morning, it was still neat and clean. The others look like people just rummage through them and just leave stuff on the floor. I’ve seen a clip where one girl that didn’t work there, stayed in the store until she put everything away and in it’s place. I have been tempted to do that as I’m very ocd! But I’m sure I’d probably be escorted out! 😂

@1ronmad1n - this will make you think I'm crazy OCD... I am always fixing things and putting them back where they belong at stores! I once got locked in a Dollar General store as they were switching over their system and had to close out the cash register. I wasn't done shopping so the ladies working there didn't notice at first that I was still in the store... but then they freaked out! I said hey I'm fine, I'll just go over here and straighten out this shelf for you. We'll the tech guy ran into issues and 3 hours later I'm still fixing merch on the shelves! But I got 2 whole aisles completed. And they were so nice to me. I found some real bargains - those 25 cent wood signs and kitchen towels for 50 cents. I can't remember what all I got but it was a cart load for like $27. So it was a great day at the store!
