Hi Kim, well I wouldn't as over time the water will change colour if is the sun. But then again, I stored those same beads in a container in the basement from my Christmas vases I did. But I emptied the water out. Honestly can't really say as I have never did nor did I ever see anyone. Maybe you could use resin but resin is expensive. They are beautiful I may just try it out I have an idea of what to put in it and color scheme hopefully I will be able to get the water beads in the color I'm thinking of but if I can find all I need n get it made I'll send you a pic❤

Hi I just love watching videos on water beads..but don’t know if you can add wooden beads with them. So stilled water is better then tap water. To make them bigger…..thank you for your video…I love watching you make them…

I'm not sure if wood beads would work. Distilled water helps the beads from not over growing. Tap water will make them too big and really soggy. 😅

Very pretty! How long will they last without burning the candles? These would be pretty to use for the summer but I don't know if they would last that long.

Thank you. Every week you will need to change the water, as it will get murky if it's in direct sunlight. Also water evaporates, so the water beads will get smaller and more than likely the shells will shift. It's more of a temporary display or you could use expoxy for long turn( minus the candle part ) 😃

Are these very heavy with water for the tall candle holders? Does it need more support on a bottom?

I've used them a few times without issue. The only thing I suggest is that it's on a solid surface 😀

Can you do a sealed jar? Or do the items still settle?

The shells will start falling as water evaporates. Not sure about a seal jar .

That is so beautiful I have seen so many of these I just want to know how long does the beads last like how do you have to change them out can you use them over and over how long has your beats last before you have to throw away cuz they're too gross

Thanks, these beads I used were from last Christmas. You will see when they get gross/old. Change the water every other week and keep out of the direct sunlight. When I store them in a sealed plastic container, I just rinse and empty the water.

These would sell in Myrtle Beach and other Beach destinations because they decorate the beach houses. I live close and they charge alot fir small creations.
