Fun fact, the log out feature does work on the ship, but you have to use the log out on the ship itself, not quitting.

I only played this game for two days, and I was incredibly impressed. First day, just found my ship, flew around a bit, warped to the free-fly event planet, set her down, then had to leave. Second day, spawned on that planet in new quarters, explored a lot, found my way to the event, and spent a looooooong time just looking at different ships, having a blast. Rented a fighter, flew around space for a while. Rented a gunship and explored in-atmosphere, randomly decided to land somewhere and watch the sunset, then got off. Didn't really do much except explore and have lots of "ooooohhhhh" and "aaaaahhhhh" moments with how amazing everything looked, but that was enough.

I really hope u read this. 1) if u want to log out and comeback to the same spot u were prior u r gonna have to get on the bed and look up and touch the log out button. 2) set u respawn point to the space aport above the city u kept respawning at. 3) on hurston u can quantom out once u hit 11kilomtere. u can go to other moon or planets or even location on the same planet. Instead of acutally fling it out like u did for the cave mission. some planets require u to fly higher than 11 kilometers to quantom out. most moon are around 5 kilometers. If u want to quantom to a different side of the planet or moon u r on u have to jump to an om point so u can get to the other side than jump to where u want to be. 4) there r 4 planet and 12 moons. and in order to jump to a moon that orbits a different planet u have to jump to its planet first. 5) if u r doing a bunker mission loot the boxes as they have the best guns especially the red boxes.

after watching vid I have few advices 1- If you're doing combat missions take "Call to arms" quest, it will give you additional money for every enemy killed 2- In space combat turn off quantum drive and use T button to target enemy ships 3- That big backpack you bought you can only use with special undersuit that you can buy at Hur stations 4- you can use scroll wheel to change max speed of your vessel I think that's all, maybe you'll stream SC gameplay ?

I'm not sure how long you have been doing content for, but I am so glad I found it. I am really enjoying it.

Hey dollar, if you want to log out from the bed, you have to lie down and use the F menu and press the Log out button, that way it logs you out safely

Quick tip: Dont click anything in the inventory until it finishes loading completely. It works fine as long as you do that.

18:15 for people who are wondering why he crashed at the altitude of 450meters its because right now altitude is counted from the lowest possible height on the planet and not ground under you. Devs said they want to change that but they will probably do it later its not priority now. Overall i would recommend counting anything below 5km as not safe to fly at high speed without looking.

So nice to see some SC here ! I have a little tip for you as well if you didn't know: you open your command prompt in-game (I think it's F8 the command to open it) and you write "r_shadow" and then press TAB. it must show "r_shadowPoolSize", you press ENTER and then you can lower it to 1024 (or 2048, depens what you want) to gain some fps. It will decrease the shadows resolution. And to show you spec in game, I think that the command is "r_DisplayInfo"

Its strange because I was seeing some Star Citizen gameplays randomly appering on my youtube and I told "okay, thats a really beautiful game!", but I never expected you to play it. Have fun Dollar!

btw if you want to lag less in Star citizen, you need to put most of the settings at the highest (weird i know but this is how it works), turn off motion blur and i think the volumetric clouds, and of course : INSTALL IT ON AN SSD !!! also another tip if you're starting , DON'T BUY a backpack or any equipement right away UNLESS you're planning to do ground missions/exploration because if you die you lose the equipement unless you go retrieve it manually (it tracks your body on death). and the Titan is a very solid starting ship, probably the best. you can put 1 Rhino and 2 Panthers guns (laser repeaters) on it, buy a new shield and a new Quantum drive and it will completely shred most ships, you can actually do up to VHRT bounties with it. and don't do the error DOLLAR did at 14:00 when he tried sleeping on the bed, it do work but you have to "lie down" and then hold F and select "logout". if you get stuck in a cave and you see a yellowish texture on some rock, that means you can climb it (you jump and it automatically climbs) but it works way better in 3rd person view for some reason (F4 key). if you can't see a thing in the dark while in your ship, press the TAB key to send a ping, you'll see the surface of the planets ;) see that littlebox in the bar (where you see the red part) on the left of the ship's HUD when you pilot ? try scrolling the mouse up and down and you'll be able to cap or uncap the speed, H key is for flares (decoys) when you get missile locks on you, T key for targeting a ship (but don't forget to turn off the quantum drive visor (B key), middle mouse button to switch to missiles then get in range (there's also a minimum range) then you can either immediately fire or wait until the green circle completes to get a more solid lock; SHIFT key to use boost (depletes the little bar on the left), ALT+C to uncouple reactors (CPLD icon on the bottom left of your ships HUD), basically it makes you fly completely manual ( wayyy better once you get used to it) better not use it in atmosphere however because it's usually dangerous. in case you were wondering about the "noise" icon, it's deployed with the J key, it stops ships from targeting you if the ECM cloud is between you and them, missiles who enter in it should also lose their locks, it's also used when you have friends in a big ships and you're flying small ships, if you deploy "noise" the enemy will only see the big ship on its radar and will get a nasty surprise when he gets too close. you can change aiming mode (for ships weapons) with the G key, it's the little icon on the bottom right of the ship HUD where you see "LOCK", there's a mode called "automatic" if you have gimballed weapons, fixed weapons only have "lock" but fixed weapons have a little gimbal anyway and are much more powerful and actually easier to use when you train a bit. the "K" key is VTOL mode, only works on ships that have it (like the cutlass), titan DOESN'T have it even if you can toggle it.

Finally, something Dollar can fly that he doesn't crash in 30 seconds!

wow Dollar, you did pretty good. Hurston is one of the more difficult spaceports to get out of. we used to have Port Oilsar to start with. it was great for newbies to get comfortable with the controls and smaller nuisances if the game.

This was great. I know this was probably 5 hours edited down. Once you learn your way around you'll be able to do this much stuff in 30 minutes. Except the cave mission. Fuck the cave missions. I hope you keep playing, this was quite an adventure.
