Pro modelling tip: when you run out and go to refill your Tamiya Extra Thin glue, don't. Save the glass bottle and buy the 750ml bottle of "Tamiya Airbrush Cleaner", it's the same stuff for the same price (you can google that or check the MSDS for yourself, same stuff), but you get 750ml instead of 40ml. Old secret-not-so-secret modeller's trick. Plus you can clean your airbrush if you have one. It's a good idea to buy the actual glue the first time tho, since it has that handy bottle with the brush in the lid.

Amazing video!!! Thanks so much for making this - was litterally thinking the other day i wonder how plastic sprues are made. The part with the steel plated machine ramming together, separating and then out popped a perfect sprue was like magic! Agreed, wayland games are just amazing - how can you beat best prices, great customer service and free delivery over £20?! Note - hoping they always keep that free delivery over £20 - that's their competitive edge imho.

@bionicgeekgrrl
@bionicgeekgrrl 11 ай бұрын
It can be quicker if they use aluminium, and therefore cheaper. However the moulds will then last a much shorter time compared with hardened steel. Typically you can expect 25-30 years from those moulds, maybe longer (in the plastic scale modelling hobby there are still kits being sold based on 1950s and 1960s tooling, of course technology has marched on since, but with careful use they can last longer than most wargaming companies have existed).
