I made a little house/roombox at Christmas from a small (6x14") decorative drawer cabinet thing I had. Took out the drawers and made each "cubby" into a miniature room scene. I had it on my fireplace mantle. It looked so cozy I wanted to live there!

I love the suitcase idea! There's always old suitcases at the thrift store and / or antique store. And, your clock dollhouse is wonderful. Dot's dollhouse in the old wall shelf is clever and adorable.

Such fun and creativity! I am working on a large antique wall clock case that I found at a junk store. I am creating a mouse home, with the “upstairs” as a clock repair shop! I’m making it using only items I made from recycled junk. It’s quite fun! I made a small Xmas room box inside an outdoor lantern (like the ones you showed as possibilities). I have an old suitcase waiting to be transformed into a dollhouse as well! I also have a old wooden breadbox awaiting a bakery I’m in the process of creating (Right now I’m working with Fimo clay and vintage button making cakes, breads, etc.) I have a little girl and her mom who come to visit me and we stacked plastic milk delivery cartons and made her a multi-level dollhouse. She loves making it “really tall” and sometimes “smaller” by using or not using any # of the cartons. Her mom was so inspired she made a dollhouse for her at her own home using a bookcase - each shelf is a house floor. Adorable! Also, this little girl also enjoys setting up a “fairy and elf” house in a hollowed our tree stump on our woods here! Hopefully, the stump will be around a few more years before it completely falls apart from normal aging/deterioration. It’s so charming with little furniture and such inside it. Of course, it also delights her (and me!) that anytime she visits us, there’s always “fairy mail” waiting in the stump for her to open! ❣️ My sweet husband is making me a miniature barrel shaped sauna (fully decked out inside with benches, wood heater, etc.) to accompany my 1/16 house. He’s using a mailing tube to create the structure and popsicle sticks for the benches and a vitamin bottle, etc to make the heater. It mirrors the actual (full size) outdoor wood burning barrel shaped sauna we built for ourselves and enjoy use most mornings! Finally, I’ve used smaller boxes (like the one you showed from Value Village) and made several “room boxes” for friends - one was a flower shop, another a bakery, another a candy store, another a Mary Engelbreit themed room, and another was a vintage kitchen. As you said, the imagination is one’s only limit! (Ok, and time! Haha!). I made a category on Pinterest called “Imaginative Dollhouses” and have soooo many saved photos there, including many you showed. Pinterest is always a great inspiration source for so many things! Thanks for creating this video! ❣️ Kathleen

Wow oh how I wish you lived closer! A kindred spirit! You really should do a KZfaq channel I’d watch it!

@@lisadobo2489 How sweet! I wish I lived closer too! I do believe we are kindred mini spirits! ❣️. A KZfaq channel for me … goodness no, but sweet of you to say so! I thoroughly enjoy your channel! I am in such an ongoing learning curve with my pretty recently acquired two 1/16 houses! Making furniture and accessories, etc that size is a BIG (or should I say “small”?, 😉) change for me - everything for me had been 1/12 thus far! I just truly MARVEL at your talents in the smallest of scales! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Lisa this was so cute . I had a dolly house that was a lunch box , it was the cutest thing I ever had as a kiddo . II’m currently making my house out of large cardboard moving box.My hubby bought one to give our youngest a gift for Christmas . I had been looking for a cabinet or vintage shelf, but they were too small or to large to fit in my car.,😊along with being super heavy. So one day in my frustration I looked at the huge box in my bed room and started thinking this would work I could make it into the house I wanted . If it didn’t work out it wasn’t a huge expense. So off I went making it stronger and figuring out how I was going to make a door for it. I love the European dolly houses so I’m going to follow that style. So far so good I’ve got the box body made along with flooring and walls windows are framed now some doors and it’s frame. You should see the hoard of egg cartons and coffee carriers I’m saving planing on doing a stucco stone look on the outside. Okay sorry for the rambling 😂😂😂 Really lovely clock and radio case were my 2/favorites. There is a channel you may want to check out the miniature world of kit and caboodlers. They are out of England and they make doll houses out of crates and old clocks super adorable pieces. They mudlark and find things in old victorien dumps to decorate and create pieces 😊Well loved the video look forward to your next one 💕💕💕

I know my oldest still has one .☺️ Thank you so much for the suggestion ,I so appreciate all of you 💕💕💕💕 if you have any others I would love them.

This is so weird… the cloud isn’t changing… the edges of the forms aren’t moving, no roiling…. Looks so strange.
