Wow! Very good movie but Abigail did not take control rather she reversed the role of feeling entitled.She did not create harmony & balance on the island, instead she felt entitled because she had skills that they others did not.Abigail had a chance to teach those former elitists some very good lessons of life but instead she became entititled.

from the interviews i watched, i think that was the objective of the movie, to show that Abigail exploited her new found power.

But that's what Ruben Ostlund the director/filmmaker also spoke about - that when given a chance, people in a society or humans in general learn what to do with power from how the people who have wielded it formerly. So Abigail is completely turning the tables, the actor also doesn't shy away from that fact
