Saw Dolly at the radio station In Knoxville before she left town.. I can still remember what she had on--red shoes, red dress with bandana print--slit on sides --its was the early 60s. Her hair wasn't as light and she had it combed to one side on the back.She sang like a bird and broke a string on the guitar she borrowed from someone there. I was such a fan that I tried to sing like her and she is the reason for the little "quiver', as we call it, in my voice. Once you get it--no getting rid of it. She's the BEST!
