I love the way she sings this song. Whitney's version is technically impressive but this one is leaps and bounds ahead in terms of emotion, at least to me. I think it's because she wrote it to say goodbye to a friend (he didn't die but they went their separate ways) instead of it just being a sad love song, which is why I love this version over Whitney's.

@dravont736 жыл бұрын
Martina nothing to do with racism Dolly just sings this song 10000% better than Whitney ever could..and this IS a live performance you tool. There's feeling here that Whitney could never muster in all her years singing. Look at her "acting" career..she can't because she cant feel that's why she had to go back to singing. She could sing but without feeling or emotion. Probably why she offed herself. Couldn't feel anything but emptiness. So on that note why dont you go to another of Whitney's concerts and follow that bitch to hell!!!

No one could ever do this better, sorry Whitney Houston fans. The sweetness and purity of Dolly's voice make it so heartbreakingly special.

Cheryl Vodzak hahahaha Dolly sings horrible in live and everyone with ears and is not a racist will notice that! Why she is a singer?????? My ears still hurt! I've been to Whitney's concerts and in her prime she sung better in live than in the studio! She sung the song every time in different ways and out so much emotions!
