Join us for an incredible day at Dollywood theme park in Pigeon Forge Tennessee in spring 2022 for our first time ever as we ride EVERY MAJOR ROLLER COASTER! We explore this beautiful park, ride all the best roller coasters and many fun attractions, see live music and performances happening all over the park, explore the chapel, the re-creation of Dolly Parton's family home, have a delicious buffet lunch at Aunt Granny's Restaurant, meet Miss Lillian the Chicken lady and get a chicken blessing, see Dolly's Butterfly Garden, ride the Dollywood Express steam train with beautiful views of the Smoky Mountains, and have the best day ever at our very first time at this world class theme park in Tennessee! Hope you enjoy exploring with us, one of the most beautiful theme parks in America!
Some of the rides we rode: Lightning Rod, Blazing Fury, Tennessee Tornado, Mystery Mine, Thunderhead, Firechaser Express, Dollywood Express Train, Wild Eagle, Black Bear Trail, Dragonflier!
(Coaster POV footage of Lightning Rod is courtesy Dollywood Parks & Resorts official POV's available on their KZfaq channel.)

So glad you had a wonderful time at Dollywood. I used to live in South Caroina, right outside the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. I’m so glad the day you guys went it wasn’t super crowded(from what I could see) it’s usually incredibly crowded, and the wait times are awful. The lightning rod for instance usually has a wait time of 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hour wait time!! I’m glad you enjoyed yourself! The other seasons are also really cool! They decorate the whole park differently for each season

Wow I haven't been to Dollywood in 2 years sense I moved to Florida, I had season passes for 15 years and lived in Knoxville so its so cool to see how much the park has changed!!! Dollywood is home for me and I miss it like crazy! I would go with family and friends and we always had a blast! During my time as a pass holder I once was able to see Dolly Parton live in the Celebrity Theater and it was a secret to pass holders only at the time and I will never forget it! Dollywood is what gave me my true love for theme parks and I just hope you experienced all the love and care that Dollywood is

My grandpa, his wife and I used to go to Dollywood whenever I visited them in Dalton, Georgia. I loved Blazing Fury, since it’s part roller-coaster and part Disney-esque dark ride. The 4D film Heartsong was always fun. Miss Lillian once played her banjo and sang for us when we had lunch at her restaurant. I loved Dreamland Drive-in at the Jukebox Theater, and I still own a trading pin of the Dollywood Carousel with horses that move up and down. We had so many great times at Dollywood. Grandpa died 2 years ago from dementia, and apparently his wife now has it as well. But thanks to your video, I got to relive our vacation memories again. 🥹

I live 90 mins up the road. I love Dollywood. It has become a bit crowded. Parking as of 2022 is $25 per car, so my biggest insider tip is to park FREE at Patriot Park in Pigeon Forge by the Old Mill (get there early; it's FCFS parking) and buy a $3 all-day ride pass (at the time of this comment) for the Trolley and let them drop you off at Dollywood (right by the front entrance!) or pay $2.50 for just Dollywood -- Trolleys run every 15 mins. You can also leave the park and catch a meal or go shopping somewhere and ride back. Riding the trolley is wonderful because you're not having to deal with the parking lot tram jams and/or walking to find your car or the traffic in and out of the park.

I'm fortunate enough to have Dollywood as my home park and I consider it the happiest place on Earth. It's absolutely beautiful, super family oriented and the constant improvements means it never gets old. The whole place seems to exude Dolly's lovable nature and enthusiasm. My daughter ride Blazing Fury over and over. Btw, the wait for cinnamon bread can be an hour or more but totally worth it.

Hi Johnny, I'm thinking of taking my 10 year old Grandson to DOLLYWOOD this year.. What's the best time to go with little to no crowds and not very hot days.. Thanks..
@johnnyappleseed5029
@johnnyappleseed5029 2 жыл бұрын
@@skyeblue5669 You usually have to go early or late in the season to beat the crowds like it was in this video, they hit it just right. Naturally, weekdays are better than weekends, Days when rain is forecast can keep crowds down a bit. Pigeon Forge can be pretty hot in the summer but there are also a lot of mild days and Dollywood has plenty of shade and shop and misting fans to escape the heat, there's even a large area with rocking chairs and fans for grown folks and water fountains for the kids to play in. Blazing Fury is a good way to escape the heat also and is a super fun but mild indoor coaster. Fall is spectacular with cool mornings and evenings and comfortable days. Just depends on what season you prefer, there are always a lot of people there but it's never bothered me much. Wait times for food can be excessive on the most crowded days, just plan to eat before and/or after traditional lunch hours when everyone else will be eating. So, in summary, a weekday early in the week would be best but you will enjoy it regardless. Be sure and check out the seasonal festivals on their website and see which one you'd like to experience, it could possibly be the deciding factor.

Plus I know you guys love Disney but so many people and long waits gives me anxiety watching it, I was lucky and went in 82 83 84 as a kid and have great memories but a lot has changed. Totally agree with you, Dolly is a treasured American and her park is a treasure too!! We loved King's Dominion and my Carowinds vid is coming up next, we honestly had a lot of fun there! It's nice to go to parks where you can just show up, buy a ticket or annual pass for a relatively affordable price, and have a great day with minimal planning or stress!! Honestly, I love Disney World still, but even for me it's become more stressful and having to excessively plan and micromanage every detail of your day if you want any chance of eating where you want and riding what you want gets exhausting!! I'm happy to be taking a break from it and enjoying other places that are so much more relaxed and just as beautiful and fun, with great rides, food and people!

Has alot of the samiliar things. I plan on going to Dollywood soon month or so, three days or so. Great video very geniune youtuber not trying to act like excited being there. 👍

GAZILLION BUBBLES SHOW!!!! It won’t premiere until Summer celebration (mid June) but it’s a MUST SEE. Hasn’t been at the park since 2017(?). Mesmerizing and thoroughly enjoyable. It’ll be at the front porch theater I believe.

Low crowds and good weather are the bedrock of a good park day. Not to say you need them but they certainly help.
