Great place and video of it. We were at the first years Christmas in the Smokies show in 1990. And visited many times in the following years as we lived near there for 7+ years. Dollywood is a great place to visit any time of the year. Quality entertainment.

Can’t wait to catch up with you guys! When my mom and aunt were living we would go with a friend of mine to Dollywood every Christmas season. We always saw the show, “Smoky Mountain Christmas” and my mom would cry every time. 🥰 We stayed in Pigeon Forge and did our Christmas shopping. It became a tradition. Many times we wondered if our vehicle would carry all the gifts, luggage and us back home! 😂 I was born, raised, and lived 45 years in Barbourville, KY. Can’t wait to see your Lexington, KY video. I haven’t been there in at least 15 years! 🎄😍🎁 Merry Christmas❣️

I finally saw this episode Dollywood looks like such fun! I love all those Christmas trees and lights I’m glad Kaitlyn didn’t get a new puppy and I had to laugh when the waitress put all the food down in front of Katelyn! that cinnamon bread looks delicious I’ve never had it so I can’t tell you what I prefer on it

Haha, exactly! Katelyn and I worked in the theme park industry (that's how we met!) and theme park hangover is real. Have you ever seen those foot massage machines at a park? A couple minutes of vibration on your feet actually help me! -Howard

Boatyards are where boats are hauled out of the water and either the yard or owner works on them - fiberglass repairs, bottom paint, etc. My ex-boyfriend and I had our sailboat there & my future husband was a marine contractor working on another boat next to us. I would toss down old caulking pieces to slyly get his attention (I wasn’t in a good relationship- ha ha, but we are friends with him & his wife now). Then 20+ years later I end up managing the office of that boatyard / marina 😂 And another friend couple who met there too (guy was in our wedding) ended up buying the yard. I don’t even like boatyards or working on boats 🤣

We've been to Pigeon Forge a couple times and never went to Dollywood....After watching this, we decided the next time we go, we're have to spend some time there. Dollywood is great. We used to have an annual pass but never knew about the Christmas themes. When you get to Kentucky I hope that you do more than the Southern Lights. Wave land State Park had a great old fashioned Christmas

This looked so fun! I'd love to make a glass ornament like that. What a great keepsake that would be. Did you all arrange to be able to get a behind the scenes view ahead of time or how do you go about asking if you all can film folks' answering questions and performing on camera? It adds so much to your video and I was definitely curious while watching as we'd love to do similar things as we create more videos. Thanks! ~Christine

Yes, we frequently reach out to the Marketing/Communications team at places like Dollywood (always if attempting to do an interview, just walking up and getting interviews is almost always a major no no). They can help coordinate activities, arrange interviews and more. It never hurts to contact businesses in advance! -Howard
